Szczensy…is by far the best goalie we have right now and I would take a chance on him + fabiansky rather than persist with Almunia who is a very weak link in a nervous defence. Manone had a great game against Fulham but I have seen at least 12 of his preformances and Im not impressed. But Liam and Arsene will do whats best.

Szczesny for Arsenal first keeper 2010/2011? I mean, why not? A extremely talented keeper and a manager with the strongest belief in young players. Anyways, a fantastic keeper for me.

There is no official announcement on Madrid Website. That’s kinda weird for me, because they usually announce all of their signings, even when they haven’t finalize it yet, Ronaldo for example.

Schez played in the carling cup vs Westbrom. Plus the reviews that we have been hearing about his loan spell and he has already played for the full national team and Poland isnt a country that is short on keeper. Yah I agree that obviously Mannone has time on his side so it is way to early to right him off.

Yes Mannome did let in a few soft goals, but at least he is not 32 years old. But anyway, like u I also think GK is our weakest position and I also got the feeling (I never see Schezny playing in a full match, I only saw a video of him playing for Brentford) that Schezny is better than Mannone or any of the other 2 GK we have. Well, high hopes on him then..

Vito looked alot like Almunia to me. Gave up a couple really soft goals. Vito really only had 1 good game, and that was against fulham. To be honest, I really only like Schezny out of the 4 we have. Almunia is a good back up.

Yeah, I agree with u Stephen, Vito is really impressive. He looks more confident than Fabiansky (& even Almunia IMO). I was disappointed when I saw Almunia is back in the team sheet against Spud. Mannone may had 2 average game against West ham and Alkmar, I give u that. But tell me, how many average games Almunia had before he get injured & after he regain his spot)?! Too many… But I guest that is one of the privilege u have as the 1st choice GK. Well anyway good luck to Vito. I hope he can improve him self during his loan spell, where ever that is..

Szczesny definitely won’t be happy to sit around at Arsenal as third choice while Mannone goes on loan. He’s VERY ambitious, he thinks he can play for Poland at Euro 2012. That’s why he’s so determined to go on loan and get experience, he has said this many times in interviews.

Is it just me or is anyone else happy to see Man City spend there money so wrong. If bought right and essentuly became a more powerful chelsea, that would make this league even tougher. Chelsea bought right at the begining with the westham boys and Cech,Drogba, and Essein. Man City seem to not know how to spend their money and are just buying random “big names” rather than quality. Adebayor, I think wenger wanted them to blow 25 mill on him rather than trying for players like Eto’o. Santa Cruz, an old Veira,etc. Now inerested in Flamini and Gago. Please keep spending money dumb.

Giandono- I see what you are saying. Goal keeper isnt like any other position on the field. You dont really change goal keepers from game to game like you would in other positions. Also for a goal keeper, trust me I was 1, the only way you really get better is to play. That is why young ones should be sent onloan. Other positions you get better by training, or learning from a older player in their position. Goal keepers get better by playing experience and by playing in real games. It is hard for a keeper to simulate real games. That is why most back up keepers are older players and the young up and coming keepers go onloan.
