I am supporter of Fluminense and Wellington Silva is one of the jewels of fluminense it is are regarded by many here a new phenomenon ronaldo he is one of the biggest revelations of Brazil in recent years, the fluminense has always shown a lot of players, like (marcelo from real madrid , Thiago Silva AC Milan, Fabio and Rafael man utd) and Wellington has been integrated into Silva’s first team of the state, the wellington silva is a genius with the ball, it’s amazing he’s fit for the Arsenal first team, I think it has everything to be the best player in the world someday. it’s incredible!

I really admire steve rowley and his team’s work in south america cos they seem to grinding out some very good young talent. My only hope would that they turn into future stars for the club. Btw J, talking about transfers and all that jazz, do you know of any progress from Jamie Edge? we’ve lost of any news from him.

Merida is more suited to Spanish league hes not physically strong enough unfortunately hes not going to grind and graft when the going gets tough. When its a rainy, windy day i dont think merida has got the bottle to play which u need in the premiership. Its a real shame hes a very talented player i am sure he will get into the spanish team hes a sublime talent.

But Aaron Ramsey is just a better player than him and so is Henri lansbury so i dont see where he will get a first team place

It is funny tho that Merida asumes that he will get more time there even tho they have some talented youngsters like Camacho who arent getting much time. By the way, if this deal is true then we need to just let him go. He isnt helping our first team so no point in staying around.

Actually Songs development was simply down to change in formation. He was never going to be a good def mid partner in a 4-4-2 because he isnt a quick, energetic type that can cover alot of ground like Flamini. Song is a powerful,calm players who is able to dominate a certain area on the pitch. When he was on lone at Charlton, he looked good. If we didnt change formations, then his future would be as a center back.

had hopes for him, understand him though…always supported Athletico Madrid and at Arsenal he has not exactly impressed at Arsenal. Still Song needed time but now excellent, still I think Song has strengths that required more time than Merida to develop, with his holding midfield physical and intelligent position, and Merida has not impressed with the strengths which he has

I agree with what’s been said. It does suck getting nothing for him, but he’s slipped well down the pecking order by now (to players younger than him no less).
