top quality result that, we’re due a good result over those fucking chavs! (even if it’s the reserves that have dpone the business)
luke freeman seems to be scoring for fun these days. yet there doesn’t seem to be much talk about him (outside the realm of the reserve set up where i assume there is) which is good. hopefully the lad develops futher and keeps banging in the goals.

Eastmond has been pulled from playing for the reserves tonight, so does that means Song is definately out? Porto are lethal in transition or counterattacks and if we are forced to play Denilson who doesnt track runners then AW will have to adopt the same tactics used against Liverpool with Diaby sitting with Song & Cesc just ahead as opposed to one DM, one box-to-box player & Cesc the playmaker.

It was interesting reading Arsenal.com and CFCnet’s very different takes on the game. Philip Rolfe over at CFCnet seems to think the Chavs dominated the game however even SSN said Arsenal had the better of the first half. JET seemed to be the best player on the park.

uncle mike – ‘Strickland did well for three quarters of the game and used well but grew frustrated at not being able to tackle Emmanuel-Thomas’.

    That’s from a Chelsea source.

Mannone Eastmond Cruise & Merida were left out as a precaution in case anymore players failed late fitness tests. (Clichy, Traore, Nasri, Ramsey all had late tests as well as Song, Almunia, Gallas, Eduardo & Arshavin)
