Why cant he be MR. Versitlitty? often times i see very good versitile players become disadvantaged for their GOd given talents. Coquelin is versitile and Eastmond is too slow in wenger’s mind to be a full back, so he is placed in DM at the expense of coquelin. Thats my opinion, please dont bash me.

Also i feel that JET’s versitliy will make him master no trade effectively. But i see how nasri will fill in for fabregas, and he CAN DO THAT WELL, also he can play out wide on either flanks. Playing as a winger or CM, doesnt make him less effective. I think JET Is a special case and will make a great squad palyer. HE has Height Skill and Composure, i think Arsenal should use such a utility man to the best of our ability. See him as a fusion of players or multitalented instead of a underdeveloped player that doesnt master any role.

Djourou might be back in about month. That’s the same time as Gallas, so it doesn’t help very much. Plus he will take some time to get back in match fitness so couple of reserves games is all for him this season, I think.

Norvedit will be the one who we should called back since he’s not playing for Nurmberg and Bartley is getting the experience he needs.
We can still rotate between Sol and SIlvestre if wenger chooses not to bring Norvedit back as I think we are not really playing a tough opponent and Sol and Silvestre are too good defenders so we should be OK but if one of them gets injured then we will be in trouble since none of them can play week in and week out
How long will Djoruru will be out for lets hope he gets back soon then we will have an amazing defense with

haven’t seen a more talented players in years last was probably wilshere
This kid has pace, aggressiveness, dribbling skills, trickery and an eye for a goal and unlike Ronaldo and Messi his crosses are pretty awesome as well.
Can’t wait to see him in an Arsenal shirt but the best thing about him is after he scores a goal he does the same Kaka goal celebration.

With Gallas out for another month, I wonder if we should (and can) recall Bartley or Nordveit from loan? I trust Bartley much better than Silvestre, to be honest. There is no problem when Campbell is playing but Sylvester has been just awful this season, so awful. And Sol won’t be able to play 8 games in 32 days before Gallas is back. To recall either of them and have as fourth CB would be ideal but maybe not possible.

I agree he will either play in the Fabregas role or the Diaby role but I will say again this kid has everything needed to be a great player all he needs is the work rate.
And no one here can deny that he has everything else in his armory – height, physicality, ball control, passing, shot capability and I have always seen hi in the Diaby mould and I thinkhe would have been in the first team if his work rate was better.
If he improves on that in Doncaster then I have no doubt he will in thei first team next season and will probably be second or third place choice for Diaby or Fabregas atleast until Ramsey gets back.

Yeah, everyone need to be more objective about JET. This is a different player we are looking at, forget about the old lazy utility youngster that u u used to see in him. Set a side all the prejudice u have on him & try to see how the loan experiences has developed him into a better player than he was before. I mean, come on ppl.. the kid deserve to have some credits for all the hard work he had put in.
Another thing, I don’t know about u guys, but after seeing him being lined up as a forward a couple of times lately (in the reserve games, FA cup fixture vs Stoke and during his loan spell at Doncaster) I am pretty sure that the coaching staff has already decided where to play him: Forward role, whether as the leading striker (like Bendtner) or as a 2nd striker who plays lil bit behind the leading striker.

…yea, good point. I often forget that many comments of that type could be coming from kids, in which case it’s kind of self-explanatory. Just hope that all AFC fans begin to realize that along with Ramsey, Wilshere, Gibbs, and Szczensy, JET could be another youth from the academy to become a long-term first team regular at the club. Our future is very bright.

Yes, agreed. There has been an unfortunate positional schizophrenia associated with JET’s early career, but it would appear that is changing this season. The coaches that work with JET seem to be narrowing things down to central midfield or in the whole behind the striker(s) as his best positions.. It seems whereever he goes those are two places he’s slotted into.

Don’t think he’ll be starting there anytime soon in the first team considering the world class youngster we already have there. But if he develops into a gifted and dangerous backup to Cesc, Nasri, Ramsey and Diaby, that would be just fine with me!

You know what mate? Thank you. Thank you for saving me from having a right old moan at some of these guys that can’t spot a great talent and get onto a young man like JET for stupid reasons. I personally think these comments are made by kids (they must be) so if that’s the case then forget this, but you guys seriously need to wake up. Stop hating on this precocious young talent. He’s a Gooner and a product of our academy with talent he is so obviously proving no mater where he goes and plays.
