I think it is too early to say these type’s of things about Walcott. We don’t know what he can do in training and he is clearly an instinctive natural finisher. Henry at the same age was equally inconsistent.

Players out on loan
szcensny is doing an incredible job for the Brentford
Bartley has been praised after his every single game which shows good he really is
Norvdeit was a regular before Nurmberg brought in a new coach but now he’s not even in the team so I am not sure what happened their.
Bothelo is a regular but I have seen enough of him to see that he wont make it at arsenal
Lansbury is a regular for Watford and is their most creative players by far and has done a great job till now
JET almost scored for Doncaster after coming on as a sub

Tj you are right, I did forget Aneke. I knew I would forget some people, just giving an some overall perspective. See it starts off with you listing our top talents but then you name people like Cruise and Sunu who are decent young players but you are bunching them with our true top talents. And yes I forgot Schez who is definetly one of our top talents. Of course we never know for sure but if I right on a piece of paper which players will be top talents here and which ones will move on, I bet if we use logic, it would be mostly right in a few years.

Shane, i think you’ve forgotten Aneke, who from the under 18′s downwards is THE biggest talent i’ve seen. You’ve also forgotten the likes of Ozzy and Ayling who are brilliant young prospects. Hell, we could go deeper into it and mention the likes of Freeman, Cruise, Szczesny (who will be one of the best ‘keepers in the world someday), Sunu and Barazite. The fact of the matter is, as i’ve already mentioned, is that we can never be sure. You can’t write people like JET and Watt off because they possess a quality that far too many of the current first team lack right now, desire, drive and a winner’s mentality. These two are prime examples of why the Arsenal under 18′s of last season were THE best youth side i have EVER seen. Obviously i respect your opinion and there is some truth to it but there are things people tend to take for granted that need to be taken on board before any judgments are made.

To answer your question….Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Carlos Vela, Bendtner, Afobe, Gibbs, Wellington Silva are the biggest talents. Next in line is Henri Lanbury, Bartley and Coqeulin. The ones that are generally over rated on here but still have a chance to make it are Jay Emmanuel Thomas, Eastmond and Freeman. The ones that probally wont make it are Mark Randall, Sanchez Watt and probly Jay Simpson. If you dont agree I am sorry but i am just trying to give the guy a little reality. Also I havent seen him that much but Zak Ansah is the new big talent in the u16s.

Don’t believe it all mate. A lot of our fans go overboard on most of them. They are all good players otherwise they wouldn’t be at Arsenal but it’s impossible to predict who will make it and who won’t.

If Watt comes back, our contenders for the 3 forward positions are – Arshavin, Rosicky, Nasri, Bendtner, Vela, Walcott, Barazite, and Watt. Next season add back Sunu, JET, Wilshere, Simpson, RVP, supposedly Chamakh and some people are still clamouring for more striker signings. Freeman and Afobe could conceivably figure as well. 16 players for 3 positions !?!

Like Shane says, you have to be realistic, and something has to give. Not all these guys can be carried I’m afraid.

Even in midfield we have Cesc, Diaby, Song, Denilson, Ramsey, Eastmond, Randall, Lansbury, Frimpong, Merida, Eboue, some guys that also play in the forwards, and massive talents like Ozyakup will only be a season or 2 away. 12 names here already, same applies.

So overall, you could expect maybe half a dozen of these guys at least will be let go in the next season or 2. Just a fact of life.

I have said he is over reated for a while now. There are some players the just dont have that special something which you need to play at a club the size are Arsenal in the attacking 3rd. Average players just wont make it. It isnt unfortunety that some players wont make it to the first team. It is simply logical. We cant have a 1st team with 200 players.

Jom are you nuts? Watts better than Walcott. Arsene Wenger certainly feels Walcott is good enough for Arsenal and Fabio Capello thinks he’s good enough for England! I certainly value their opinion above yours.
As for No.9 what makes you think the loans aren’t worth it. Henri Lansbury got called up to the England under 21s on the weight of his performance at Watford. Jack Wilshere just got a standing ovation at Bolton. And Kyle Bartley has played every minute for Sheffield United since moving there on loan.
What’s hurting the Arsenal players is the English league system. Last year Arsene Wenger had suggested that they follow the Spanish system that would allow Premier League reserve teams to compete in the lower divisions. Arsenal’s young guns would make a very competitive championship team!
