Great work supermac. im from norway aswell. i was wondering if u could tell how vela did perform against kosc6 and verm5??..also if u could see some development in his physical play..i believe thats whats hindering his development..he struggles to play the physical english game..i appreciate ur response

Sounds like a great idea, have you had a reply? I sent a email via the UEFA website about both the spanish big boys tapping up (didn’t want to sound like a bitter gooner) and got a standard reply. It advised me of standard areas to direct my email although that’s where it sent it. Is there an e-carpet at UEFA to brush these emails under ? Good luck and please update

AW have 27 players down here, and just 22 was fit yesterday. But AW use just 2 GK, so Fabi and Szcz did not play. Diaby, Henderson, Landsbury, Traore and Eastmond was not fit.

I propose that Arsenal fans World wide post letters once a week for the next four weeks to UEFA & FIFA complaining about Barcelona FC’s ‘tapping up’ of Cesc Fabregas. Also post a letter just once to Arsenal FC requesting that they formally complain to UEFA & FIFA. I have drawn up 3 template letters that I will email to willing participants. All you need to do is type in your own Name & Address before printing off & posting. Momentum will be boosted by you forwarding the email to every one of your Arsenal FC fan family & friends, encouraging them to participate.
The aim of repetitive letters is to create an Admin headache for UEFA & FIFA with thousands of letters received from all over the world & display the strength of feeling from Arsenal FC fans. The purpose of the single letter to Arsenal FC is again to display the strength of feeling from us fans.

Christ I love this blog, I must admit that after a year or two of reading JS’s match reports for reserves and youth team matches, often published only minutes after they have finished; Transfer news which is regularly light years ahead of anyone else’s, Koscielny, Wellington, Ebecilio to name but a few – I probably take this site for granted far more than I should and to top things off even the bloody punters are producing indepth analysis you won’t find anywhere else. Genuinely insightful and entertaining as always, which is a rare thing indeed for an Arsenal blog excellent work. I’m also pleased as punch to see a few of the young players I’ve followed for the last couple of years – primarily through this site, making a real push for the first team.

It disappoints me how highly wenger seems to rate walcott when there are a number of reserves who seem to be at least as good, despite being much less experienced now. Imo walcott’s development should be taken down in the list of priorities with others being given more chances (vela and wilshere in particular).
