bartley is back in full training with arsenal reserves and could feature in there game tomorrow the only reason he wont do is if a loan move is on the cards. I find it a bit disturbing that u publish such stories when u have to proof behind it. And feel as though you owe the kid an apology.

to john, if u want an example of nasri dribble past players obviously against porto… the goal of the season, dribbles past 5 players. But i still think that he could not replace fab as the playmaker cause of he did not have great range of passing as good as fabregas, and could not setup a tempo for the team to play, whether to slow the tempo or accelerate it. He always gung-ho even when our team is leading. e.g againts porto. fortunately we win it because porto was not good enough to counter attack. btw to j.s, good work… and the fans here is intelligence than any website or arsenal blogs i’ve read so far. Sorry for the english, i’m still learning.

I would like to see better efficiency from Nas between forward movement off-the-ball and coming towards the ball along with the fullback marking him into sometimes already congested area. In addition to that, Nas needs to also maintain equilibrium between dribbling on the outside and inside of the fullback to cross or play through-balls.

IMO Nasri will take over from fabregas the season after next when cesc leaves =l.

Nasri is quality and given another season or 2 will be world class, you see it in some games already, i.e Porto when he ran the show. GIven another couple of seasons he will be a lot more consistent.

The thing is he’s been playing out of position since he signed, and thats simply cos fabregas is one of the top 3 midfielders in the world. I’d like to say top 1.. but thats just biased i think.

But once nasri gets into the centre week in week out he’ll push fabregas all the way i think. When he filled in there last season he had some very good games, but you can tell he got tired at times, and thats simply because its a complete different pressure and intensity playing CM rather than on the ‘wing’. Once he gets more games in CM you’ll see more consistency and freedom in his play, rather than when fabregas is playing and he’s a bit inhibited.

For me Nasri is class and will become top, top drawer, he just needs time and his real position!

Honestly I appreciate your opinion but to say Ramsey or Wiltshire are better than nasri in cm is nonsense. Nasri is appreciated by wenger for the brilliant all round player he is; strong in the tackle, great dribbled, good finisher, great vision and he has a amazingly clever passing ability and a ability to unlock defenses. I remember one of the goals he set up for frabregas last where he played the most wonderful chip over the top for cesc, one of many. He is our second best midfielder in my eyes as much as I love song and he will prove you wrong.

hi I read your comments on Nasri I can tell you when He played for Marseille He played CM and He was really good so I think he can really play at this place but Cesc is here and he is terrific .
What do you think about Kos ? (I think he can make it in first XI but I’m affraid about his weight

To say nasri doesn’t struggle off challenges like Walcott is absolutely ridiculous. Walcott gets bullied off the ball, if anything nasri is the hardest player to tackle in the 1st team squad his upper body strength is amazing for his size. Also the link up play between cesc and nasri was amazing at times last year why people don’t seem to rate him is beyond me. His play is not just about his dribbling his passing intelligence is quality. Watch this year he will prove you all wrong. Nasri is a class above in my eyes our best creative player after cesc.

I think wilshere is a better central midfielder than nasri.

When fabregas got injured then ramsey got injured nasri couldnt perform even though he was playing in his best position for 10 games.

Hes the reason why we dropped off the title race he showed no creativity, guile, ability to win a game.

I just wished at that time aaron ramsey was fit because he would have done a much better job than nasri in central midfield

your right AFM..Nasri once dubbed the new Zidane before he transferred to arsenal..the problem is Nasri just can’t play in the CM position because Fantastic Fabregas playing there..AW often play Nasri in wide position to give us more option..he can dribble too and good in 1 to 1 situation..last season he playing brilliantly in CM when fabregas was absent due to injury..i still believe Nasri future position is in the CM(playmaker) due to his creativity and skill..sorry for the english mate..

jack wishare / samir nasri / cecs fabregas / alex song / aron ramsay.

the rest are still young but these players have already proved to us that they are first team players

just wish walcott develops and so does vela……
