Arsenal Pencil Ramsey In For Reserves Run Out

Arsenal are putting the finishing touches to Aaron Ramsey’s rehabilitation from a fractured tibia and fibula. The Welshman returned to full training this week and plans are afoot for Ramsey to turn out for the Reserves in the coming weeks.

Ramsey has been training at Arsenal’s state of the art indoor centre based at London Colney for a number of weeks, but the 19-year-old was told he is free to link up with the first team last week. Newly appointed fitness coach Marcus Svensson is running the rule over Aaron’s come back and was happy to give the midfielder the green light to do ball work and exercises with the team.

The hope is that Ramsey will be able to turn out of the Reserves sometime in November. Arsenal are also hoping to arrange a selection of behind closed doors fixtures should he need it, with a first-team return being penciled in before Christmas. So far the youngster has suffered no muscle set backs; meaning his return has gone according to plan.

This latest news comes in a week where Aaron was named the Welsh Young Player of the Year.

J We its great news that Ramsey’s back
but I think the bigger news is this “Newly appointed fitness coach Marcus Svensson” did the last guy get fired? because a lot of arsenal fans wanted our back room medical staff to be changed and I am glad wenger is trying to change his medical staff and trying a new person to help solve our injury worries

Do you think our two new playmakers Ramsey and Wilshere are better than Chelsea`s new young playmaker Josh McEachran ? Is Walcott better than Kakuta ? I dont think so. We should be delusional because chelsea have great young players too.Man City spend on young players a lot as well and it is not only our future that will be bright. Therefore it will be really hard to win trophies.

      I agree with bigsnoop.

Both Ramsey and Wilshere are better then McEachran and in my opinoin they have a bigger potential as well. And as good as Walcott has been this season (even through he has been injured most of the time so far) he’s definitely better then Kakuta.

Interestingly Walcott, Wilshere and Ramsey have already turned out for their senior National Team as well as accumulating first team appearances.

Of course i think they are better. Wilshere is being touted as the most naturally gifted midfielder england has produced since Gazza, and week in week out recently we have been lucky to see this proved as fact. Rambo, lets not forget was pretty much a starter at the time of his injury, also on a fine run of form and had it not happened who knows where he would be now and in what form. Out of the premier league we are no doubt better equipped with young talent than anywhere else. That is not to say other teams don’t have quality in their ranks but our youngsters are primed and ready with a lot of experience, other teams youth players are not.

you mentioned one england u19 player and one french u19 player (or perhaps he is u21 now) against 3 full internationals, where one started the season on fire before injury, one has been very good, and one was developing extremely well until his injury…

Yes, but beyond the couple good uns Wilshere and Walcott we also have Emmanuel-Thomas, Lansbury, Gibbs, Frimpong – they are all gonna be 1st teamers – thats half an English team, maybe Bartley too, Citeh could have done that but messed it up, and Chelsea just dont have as many at once…

Well, we have compare the two because Chelsea is the best in London in the last few years and they will surely want to fight for titles in the future as well.Jeffrey Bruma, Van Aanholt,Kakuta and McEachran are going to make it at the highest level. Also, they will buy Lukaku who is better than Afobe and probably they will buy David Luiz(23 years old).So they are definately planning for the future. Its not only us.Ramires is young as well.At least, we bought Wellington da Silva and Serge Gnabry who will be super stars.

I am an AC Milan and Arsenal fan. I am not a chelsea fan. I am just trying to be objective.

    • October 14, 2010 at 1:35 pm
      Permalink

Objective? Really? To tell the truth my friend, I absolutely cant see your point on comparing Wilshere/Ramsey with Josh McEachran. I mean, can u mention at least one McEachran’s achievement that surpass Willshere/Ramsey? I don’t think so (At the moment, Wilshere is already pushing for a regular first team spot in the England senior team. As for Ramsey, before his injury he is already established himself as an important member of the Wales senior team).
Same goes to the Walcott n Kakuta comparison. Yes, I agree that Kakuta looks really promising at the moment. However, nobody can’t guarantee that he will fulfill all the promises that he currently shows. In this case, I suggest u to have a look back on the situation we have with Arturo Lupoli a couple years ago. I mean, damn he looks really promising back then, but where he is right now?
Basically, what I’m tryin to say is: you made a ridiculous comparison (let alone the conclusion). The two Chelsea youngsters that u mentioned still has a lot to prove compare to the 3 arsenal youngsters. Yes I know Wilshere, Ramsey n Walcott still has something to prove, but at least not as much as the 2 Chelsea youngsters. Unlike Kakuta and McEachran, the three Arsenal youngsters has already made their way into their respective senior team (As for Ramsey n Walcott, they even manage to score some valuable goals for their respective country at senior level). This is probably the reason why you got a lot of stick from most of the posters here, because I personally think that most of the posters here are actually aware n being objective on the other team effort on developing youngsters for the future sake. They only objected on your ridiculous comparison.
Next time, try to make a more reasonable comparison (e.g. comparing McEachran with our young midfield playmaker: Aneke), it will save u from wasting a lot of time on explaining your point/argument.
      Cheers….

comparing McEachren and Kakuta, already full internationals of their respectve nations and one a scorer of a premiership hattrick as well as a hattrick for his country against croatia, to three lads i’ve never heard of before is a joke… oh wait come to think of it aren’t i thinking of rambo, jack and theodore?? thats right it’s these muppets McEachran and Kakuta i’ve never heard of.
but right you are about the trophies. no team has the divine right to them. there’s a reason why no team has been able to win back to back champions league winners medals right?

Aaron ramsey signals at end to samir nasri unfortunately.

With ramsey, wilshere, fabregas, as playmakers nasri doesnt have a chance.

And when walcott comes back nasri wont be on the bench i think we should sell him and buy a holding midfielder to add balance to the squad

none of wilshere and ramsey can play on the flank like nasri can, therefore nasri has a place in arsenal.

also, why would u sell him because you have 1-3 others who are compareable to nasri? have you already forgot about all the injuries we get? we need to have a huge squad

Nasri’s goal against Porto last season, thats not good enough for us? not even to get in our squad? If wilshere did that he could have 5 rubbish seasons and it wouldnt matter. But i guess its sweeter when its an englishman. When nasri hits his prime he will be WORLD CLASS. So should Ramsey and Wilshere, but cesc wont still be here, and there is no way Walcott can play as a right mid for us long term. In front of goal he can be deadly and it will be interesting to see if he can make it as a striker, but other than pace he doesnt have the qualities i.e. close control, and his deliveries ect to be a winger for us

Better him take his time to carefully carve out a powerful return, then half-ass it and end up re-injuring his leg and being out for another extended period of time. This will be PERFECT for us, itll be like a brand new midfield signing with out the cost of a transfer.

He looks like a strong guy and I have confidence that he will come back as strong as before. Before the injury he was captain’s material in my eyes and the injury hasn’t changed that opinion for me!!! I hope he can come back and show everyone how good he is and will become. Wow, there are more comments about Chelsea and selling Nasri then there are about the great Ramsey returning.

No need to argue with a chelsea/ ac milan (make up your mind) fan and john, who we know says some pretty stupid things from time to time.

Also where does everyone get that we are selling Fabregas anytime soon? He has 5 years left on his contract and Wenger never sells our true world class players (except Cashley Cole). He only sells the replaceable ones. Also Barcelona are not going to offer up the cash for him so stop just assuming this will go through.

Ok done with that. Back to this great news. I can not wait until Rambo is back in the first team. Keep the good work up Ramsey.

Samir nasri is a waste of space.

Can someone tell me what he actually does.

Cause every time i have seen him he only seems to pass the ball backwards, sideways.

PPl say hes this great dribbler. I havent seen him go past players this season or look like going past players. PPl are still deluded keeping thinkin of nasri when he was at marseille.

Samir nasri for a playmaker creates nothing despite having alot of the ball ie Liverpool, chelsea, west brom, sunderland.

You will see when fabregas, ramsey get the ball they will either create a chance, put someone through, have a shot, do somethin dangerous.

Samir nasri plays safe. in that position you have got to make killer decisions which he seems to not have.

I personally think the premiership is too fast for him

This is exactly what I have been thinking about Nasri as well.He doesnt take risks. He seems to be improving this season though.2 goals against Spurs ( i know from penalties) and then the next game 2 well-taken goals against West Brom and he was dangerous in preseason.Lets give him a chance and see what he does this season.

I think i have been saying this for ages if arsenal had proper wingers our attacks would be alot better but also our defence would defend better as well we wouldnt have full backs bombing on and we wouldnt have to keep pissy passing it which samir nasri for me is the main culprint in that sense.

Nasri ruins our football hes not incisive or decisive enough.

We need fast wingers, WHO CAN DRIBBLE PAST PLAYERS WE CANT ALWAYS PASS THROUGH DEFENCES.

Barcelona can pass the ball hut they have also good excellent dribblers.

    I dont think arsenal have

Guys, about the nasri thing, Iniesta didn’t fully develop until he was 25 or 26. Nasri still has a couple of seasons before that stage. Iniesta had to truly define what his proper position was and he has. He is best when lpayed through the middle. Samir can do the same thing. I think you have to give him time. I am not saying that Samir is exactly like Iniesta, but his situation kind of reminds me of his.

Don’t really want to get in the negative Nasri sucks argument but you are wrong about Iniesta. Iniesta was a fantastic player even at 20 years old. His problem was that he had Deco occupying his spot for a while.

On nasri, Nasri is not my favorite player ever but I think he fits well. He is not a primary playmaker so he needs to play with Fabregas’s but he is a great compliment player. Don’t see how anyone can say he sucks though.
