Italian Agency Plays Mind Games In Wilshere Pursuit

Italian Sports Agency Pasqualin D’Amico have opted to play mind games in the pursuit of Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere, by claiming that they are oblivious of any interest in the 16-year-old.

Young Guns first revealed that Jack had been targeted by the famous Italy based agency 3 weeks ago, an interest which was confirmed by a representative of the company, Alfredo Pasini. However, one of the main partners, Claudio Pasqualin, has performed an astonishing U-turn by denying the whole story.

“I think he’s a good player and it would be good to bring him to Italy, but for now we aren’t interested.

“I don’t have any real interest in him at the moment and I don’t think my partner Dr (Andrea) D’Amico does either.”

Yet Pasini e-mailed the website on the 23rd of September, saying P&D were ‘Very Interested’ and even going as far as saying they were planning a meeting. You Can view a Print-Screen shot of the mail Here.

Connections between the outfit and Inter Milan has seen Wilshere linked with a move, although this is all but impossible. Jack has an agreement in his scholarship that means his deal will turn professional on his 17th birthday, but even if he remains at Arsenal the agency are still keen to add the diminutive starlet to their impressive books.

Just heard that Vito Mannone Gavin Hoyte and Henri Lansbury could be going out on loan tomorrow. Rene Steer unwanted by Cheltenham and a decision on the 3 at Forest will be made on Wednesday. Has anyone else heard anything?

Lansbury is strongly tipped to be off to Watford. I heard Norwich could be in for Hoyte.

I dont rate Mannone and he does nothing to change my mind on that and Szczesny is a better talent. I wonder who will play RB in the CC if we loan out Hoyte probably Coq or push Djourou to RB and bring in Silvestre at CB.

Derby also have injuries to their defence, 2 CB & 1 RB injured, so they might also be in the running for Hoyte if it is true that he is going out on loan.

Maybe those Lansbury loan rumours are true. He’s not in the 16-man squad for tonight’s game surprisingly.

Contracts do not mean a thing nowdays because if Jack Wilshere wanted to go and play in Italy for Inter Milan he could go tomorrow and Arsenal could not stop him IMO

How can that email be taken seriously? :/

GoonerChris, he’s suspended after kicking a mudhole Stone Cole style into a Villa players leg last week.

Id hate to see Jack leave, but if he did leave the only places id find any consolation in would be Portugal, France, Spain or Holland, cuz they give kids chances in their leagues and would help him develope. Italy and Germany are notorious for being cautious about giving young players a chance, especially Italy, where most players wont get a run of games before 21 at the earliest.

I do not think he will leave Arsenal just yet because he is on the verge of first team football at 16 years old and if Jack Wilshere went to Inter Milan i doubt that Jose Mourinho play him at that age anyway IMO

Like hell would they email you about being interested in signing up a kid to their agency. The language and spelling is atrocious, even taking into account that the emailer *may* be Italian. It is so easy to spoof an email address
