What’s this about Jack Wilshere going on loan to West Brom?… Hasn’t Wenger stated he’s too young to go on loan?

he is very good, I saw him when Brazil played USA U16 and he was the best player and score a goal. He played on the wing in that game.

Why would people be baffled about his origins, unless he is not really 15 years old?.

Looks like an interesting prospect to say the least.

Why do we sign a 15 y/o Brazilian? Are our English youngsters so bad? This is getting ridiculous. What if we actually scouted 21+ players, rather than focusing on the 15 y/o’s?

It is not that the English youngsters are bad – just look at Wilshere. It is just that there are always somebody who is better than you, no matter what his nationality is. I doubt you will complain if this lad does sign for us and become our very own Messi, no? And I am sure Wenger and the Arsenal scouts do scout for players at every other age groups, including the 21+. How do you think we were able to sign these 21+ players over all these years without them being scouted? By using Football Manager? Face it, this IS a youth team blog, of course only the young players are mentioned here. I do not think a 27 year old midfielder or something like that is to be signed as a youth player.
