Rosický Set For March Come Back In Reserves

Injury ravaged Czech midfielder Tomáš Rosický has been penciled in to end his year long exile from football for the Arsenal Reserves in March.

The 28-year-old versatile play-maker returned to light training on Monday morning, and despite his steady progress, plans are already being made to step up his rehabilitation.

One of Neil Banfield’s various duties is to provide a link between the first team and Reserves – something that not only eases the transition for many young players into Arsène Wenger’s plans, but it also allows Banfield the opportunity to call on the experienced and mature members of the first team who may be frozen out at the moment.

A whole host of famous faces have got their fitness back playing for the second string – with Eduardo and Amaury Bischoff the latest two cases of players who are currently turning out for Banfield’s side in a bid to get their sharpness back.

March sees the Reserves open with a home tie against West Ham, before further skirmishes with West Brom and Chelsea before the month is out. March will prove to be the final full month of fixtures of the Reserves League South season, although several friendlies are expected to be arranged.

Good News. Any of the top 4 would not cope as good as us if they had the same type of players out. We need our players to return ASAP to finish within top 4.

From my observation; Bischoff is no first team quality as of now. Arsene should have rather kept Palacios instead of letting him go to Wigan.

Great news. Although he will probably not be cis contributing much this season, I hope he can get some minutes for the first team by the end of the season. 6 weeks of training now, 6-8 weeks more to gain match fitness through the reserves before he can get some minutes on Emirates. Unless something new happens it seems like a probable plan.

Bischoff has done nothing on the pitch to suggest he is first team material at this time.

We have unfairly placed high expectations on the lad without realizing he only had 1 1st team appearance for Werder Bremen and a couple for the U-21’s.

As Arsene previously said, “Bischoff is a gamble”, and he probably made the gamble because he knows his father and they are from the same area in France.

Arshavin Pfftt over rated anyway! I’d rather save the money to buy the likes of Micah, Inler, Yaya or Tymishuk.. Especially With all the creative players we got coming back, someone would get frozen out and end up leavin! We got youth players that could do an equally good job as arshavin in his ‘settling in period’ given half the chance! C’mon fellas keep up the positivity

ME: I think it would be best for everyone if you would just shut up, you are nothing but a cunt that has nothing to say except shit all over yourself. Because Rosicky has been injured, should he then not try to get into the team again? Does he need your permission to start kicking a fucking ball?

    Cariblad,
the reason i asked about bischoff is that he looked superb in the hightlights of the last game,
obviously these are only highlights, but some of the little passes he made were excellent and some have told me he was “head and shoulders above” the others in the reserves
while i find that hard to believe it wouldnt surprise me if he were a pretty decent player who i was hoping would come good around this sort of time – he could save us some money on arshavin for example, if he can do a good job in a wide position

J, I hope you didn’t block ME totally from being able to make a post, that wouldn’t be fair. No matter how crazy his comments are, everyone has a right to say what he likes..and everyone has a right to choose whether or not to react to it. If everybody thinks and comments in one direction, here would be a boring place.

“by the time he comes bak to the first team arsenal will only have like 3 games left to play”

At least hes coming back and that could be bigger than many people think. I still don’t really understand what happened with the injury, it was weird, they said three weeks, then another three weeks, then the summer, then january and now March but hopefully this time it’s a real date of return and we won’t be seeing it get pushed back again. What ever it was, it was obviously serious.

But he could prove to make a big difference to our side next season, hes great at getting into positions in the box where he can pick up passes and nick and goal as well as his ability to smack shots in from outside the area which is an area we’re imporving in but could still do with a bit more.
