One Arsenal fan will be disappointed today as last season’s Arsenal Reserves skipper Jay Simpson scored again for Millwall but it wasn’t enough to beat Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena in the F.A Cup 4th round.
The strike was similar to his goal in midweek against Nottingham Forest cutting inside and smashing the ball into the corner, This came after Hughes has put the Sky Blues ahead and inform Malta striker Michael Mifsud wrapped up the win in the second half.
Simpson [19] now has 5 goals in just 21 appearance’s for “The Lions” and now has two goals in his last two games forming a great partnership with Veteran Neil Harris.
Jay will return to Arsenal in May, but his long term future is unknown, with Millwall looking to sign him on a permanent basis and London rivals Charlton also keen.

He is a good player, it is very phisical out there so I´m glad he´s banging in the goals.

What was the score with Ipswich today for the U18?
Just checked Newsnow we lost 3 -2 against Ipswich in the U18
Not a great way for the FA Youth Cup.
Hopefully key players were rested for the Liverpool tie.
jay simpson is on fire this experience will do him the world of good and hopefully he can come back and get himself into the recogning of the first team
Jay is a really good finisher i have seen him play. his game is similar to that of Andy Cole and even his story. Jay is a fan of Arsenal, he is with the club since just 9 years old. A great player but an english man in the regime of Arsene wenger. We should not let him go as it happened to Andy cole how became a star with MANhandlers Urinators.
Mark, they were all rested against Ipswich.
