Arsenal.com have confirmed this afternoon 18 year old midfielder Mark Randall has joined Burnley on loan untill the end of the season.

A classy central midfielder with an eye for a pass , Mark has added class and style to the Reserves since joining in 2005 and has 4 goals in all competitions this term despite spending some time on the sidelines

Over the past two seasons Randall has been taken with the first team pre-season training camp in Austria, the summer of 2007 saw him starting on the left side of midfield putting in a rugged performance before being replaced in the second half, it seems Mark has become a favourite with not just fans but also the management penning a pro contract in February 2007,

His first start for the first team came this season on the right of midfield in the Carling Cup quarter-final against Blackburn getting a good passing move going before feeding Nicklas Bendtner who crossed for Abou Diaby to score.

Mark who operates as a central play-maker, but its not just starting moves he can do, when it comes to finishing them he always seems to find the space, the question is, can he replicate his second string form in the first team.

Mark becomes the second 18 year old leaving Arsenal on loan today with Kieran Gibbs joining Norwich

We always hear about players who end up vanishing in the thin air. Take Ryan Smith for instance who was hailed as the next big thing and therafter loaned out after which he was sold to Derby and into obscurity. Any idea what happened ti him? Could it be that these kids are dissillusioned to the extent they just lose any interest in life? Someone ought to do a research into that.

Ryan Is with Millwall same team as Jay Simpson, he also has his own record label which he is busy setting up, seems he has lost interest in his football.

I would also have lost my interest in football if I was sold from Arsenal. :)
