Rush On For Arsenal To Complete O'Brien Deal

12pm tonight the transfer window slams shut on what has been for most Arsenal fans a disappointing window with plenty out and very little coming in.

However after Arsenal finally confirmed Luke Freeman has joined, he looks set to be joined by another youngster, 16 year old Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Liam O’Brien.

Arsene Wenger confirmed nobody else would be coming in, speaking to Arsenal TV Online on Tuesday night, but as Young Guns reported on Monday Liam has been with the club on trial [confirmed by Arsenal Here] and played in the Under 18s 3-2 defeat to Ipswich.

If Arsenal decide to snap him up, he would only cost a minimal in compensation, and would battle with James Shea to become the third choice keeper alongside Italian Vito Mannone and Polish young international Wojciech Szczesny.

Norwich have only a few hours left to complete a deal, should they choose to accept it for an un-named Arsenal player thought to be Armand Traore.
