Tale Of Two 15 Year Olds

Reports say Arsenal [Among Others] have scouts watching 15 year old Santos wonder-kid Neymar at the Copa Sao Paulo youth tournament this month.

A classy play-maker, full of tricks and pace he is miles ahead in development terms ahead of most players even ten years older than him, many have said he is better than Ronaldinho and Kaka, and Robinho when they were 15.

Real Madrid, AC Milan, Chelsea, Barcelona are all thought to be keen on the child prodigy with Manchester United already believed to have made contact with Santos, and Real Madrid claiming they have a pre contract deal agreed with his agent Wagner Ribeiro, who also represents Robinho

Santos, who realise Neymar cannot sign a professional contract until he is 16, have already acted to counter this by finalising a deal for his image rights until 2015. This means they are due £13million if he goes elsewhere. Link

His Dad [Neymar Snr] asked local club Santos to take him on trial, he impressed and they signed him to there Centre of Excellence in 2004, the same place where his idol Robinho learnt his trade before joining Real Madrid.

“All he does is play football. In the street, in the backyard, in any place possible and impossible” Said His Father.

In Other News, a deal to sign Luke Freeman still hasn’t been done, as we told you last week on Young Guns but we remain hopeful a deal could be done sometime this week.

I personally doubt that this latest so called Brazilian Wonder Kid? will come to Arsenal or England anytime soon because at that particular age they tend to go to play in Spain, Portugal or Italy mainly because of the climate is better and there is no language barrier there
