Arsenal V Norwich (Under 18's) Match Preview

5th place Arsenal travel to 2nd from bottom Norwich tomorrow morning in the Under 18’s league, looking to build on recent results and to get back to winning ways after being thumped 6-0 on Wednesday against Chelsea in a friendly,

Arsenal still have a great chance to win the title, because we have four games in hand on our title rivals, three points in the 11am kick off will would keep alive the hopes, but with the inconsistent form, it could be a step to far this term.

The Team News

Positives from the Chelsea friendly were Sanchez Watt returned from injury and he should be involved in action against the Canaries, a side he netted the winner against in the game last season, Gilles Sunu is 50:50 to be involved after coming back to training this week.

Vito Mannone and Kerrea Gilbert cannot play as they are over 18 years old.

Rhys Murphy and Rui Fonte also got more playing time during the Reading and Chelsea games and they could be in contention for starts, Nacer Barazite has been training with the first team and could be involved in Saturdays Premiership game against Aston Villa meaning Rhys and Rui could lead the line.

Rene Steer is also back from injury and he could return to left back.

Score Prediction –

Norwich are a decent team, they have a strong academy, and have surprised a few people this term, but i think with our team-getting back to full strength i expect an Arsenal win.

Arsenal’s Under 16’s take on Norwich Under 16’s tomorrow, with striker Benik Afobe looking to get in the goals again, Rorie Deacon could also start with Rhema Obed rated as doubtful, James Shea and Charlie Mann could both play 45 minutes each in goal, Cedric Evina should also play.

Abdulla will not play as he is on trial with another club, Oliver Nicholas or Conor Henderson will skipper the side.
