Crystal Palace V Arsenal U18's Match / Loanees Preview

Arsenal’s Under 18’s are in action tomorrow morning, as they travel across London to take on an impressive Crystal Palace side, both teams are pushing to win the League trophy come the end of the season.

The Young Gunners will be without the following.

Jack Wilshere – Hip/Ankle
Henri Lansbury – Glandular Fever
Rhys Murphy – Short Of Match Fitness
Rui Fonte – Nose/Lack Of Fitness.

Sanchez Watt and Gilles Sunu are both rated as doubtful, but both could play, but free-scoring Nacer Barazite is expected to be partnered with new signing Luke Freeman, Jonas Rasmussen could profit if Watt does not make it, with Jay Thomas keeping his place on the left of the midfield, and the young Dane coming in on the right of midfield.

Kerrea Gilbert and Vito Mannone cannot play as they are over 19, Havard Nordtveit and Gavin Hoyte could be with the first team for the FA Cup tie with Manchester United.

The Under 16’s are also in action tomorrow, but at home, free scoring Benik Afobe turned 15 on Tuesday, and a goal would certainly be the best way to celebrate, Ahmed Abdulla is also expected to be involved, with James Shea or Charlie Mann expected to feature in goal.

    Is there any chance Nacer will be with the first team? With Theo out we’d be short of attacking options.
