No Under 18’s or Under 16’s game yesterday, due to the Reserves game on Thursday.

In other news, Young Guns broke the news last night, that Arsenal have completed the deal for 15 year old centre back/left back Ignasi Miquel from Spanish side, Ud Cornella, for a fee which could rise to £1 million, read more about the deal, and him as a player Here

And, as one player arrives, another is apparently on the verge of leaving, the player in question is Saudi Arabian striker Ahmed Abdulla.

Issues with his agent, meant he did not sign the scholarship deal he was offered in January, with him stalling on the deal, the Gunners, snapped up Luke Freeman from Gillingham, leaving the 16 year old who has featured for the Under 18’s this term, out in the cold,

He is now being offered around several clubs, with North London rival’s Tottenham, Who with even the slightest sniff of ability are thought to be very interested, adding to the collection Spurs have of Arsenal rejects which include Goalkeeper Lee Butcher (currently on loan with FC Wimbeldon) and England Youth Winger Jason Banton.

Everton are also apparently keen on Abdulla, who could join up with former Hale End boys, Mosses Barnett and Jeffery Imudia.

    thanks Jam Jam.

and Anton, has struggled, various injuries have restricted his obvious talent, Carling Cup? very doubtful, i would say he is closer to being released than playing in the first team.

thats a shame to hear about Anton because hes my mates brother and we went to the same school he was in the year below me and he was one of the best footballers the school had but he used to play upfront and right midfield for the school and he did very very well but i saw that hes playing defence for arsenal and maybe hes sttuggling because he isnt a natural defender
    what do you think JS
