Arsenal V Charlton (Under 18's) Match Preview

Arsenal’s Under 18’s are in action tomorrow morning at London Colony against Charlton’s Under 18 side, the title is still in Arsenal’s reach but with the coaching staff choosing not to use the Reserve team players in the Under 18’s, Steve Bould will have a weakened side, meaning a realistic title push is now fading away.

With the Reserves playing yesterday against Colorado Rapids, and Barazite scoring he could find himself in the first team for the Wigan game, but he would not have been involved anyway, Luke Freeman is pushing Gilles Sunu for a start, with the Frenchman struggling for form he could celebrate his England call up partnering Rhys Murphy is attack.

Henri Lansbury, Sanchez Watt and Rene Steer are injured Ahmed Abdulla is close to agreeing terms with another side, Oliver Nicholas could also feature.

Last week we put out this side, against Norwich, and i would expect a similar looking side

Szczesny
Blackwood – Ayling – Thomas (c) – Evina
Rasmussen – Eastmond – Frimpong – Wilshere
Sunu – Murphy

Score prediction – Arsenal 1-1 Charlton

The Under 16’s are also in action tomorrow but face an injury crisis, Jeffrey Monakana, Benik Afobe, Cormac Hegarty and Rhema Obed all struggling for fitness.

However Sam Byles is fit and should start, Rorie Deacon should also start, and will be looking to continue his impressive form.

Reports from both these games tomorrow afternoon.

yo JS do you think Barazite could be on the bench for the wigan game on sunday seen as though we only have Adebayor, Bendtner fit and semi-fit Van Persie?
also Barazite can play in midfield as well can’t he?
    cheers

I think the power of your website is your knowledge of the players.

We can only read how they play and what people think about them.

However you are going and watching the youth and reserve games, seeing them before your eyes.

To me he sounds great, and he has scored lots of goals, but I can add more than that.

Put him in the team and I can judge from there.

Hope Barazite is on the bench but do you think he might play wing because he seems that his pace is abit slow

The Arsenal U18’s team should be aware of Charlton Athletic’s U18’s player Jonjo Shelvey attaking midfielder, because when i saw him take part in the Victory Shield games for the Englan U16’s team last year, he looked like a very very very good prospect to me IMO
