Arsenal’s Under 18’s take on Milton Keynes Dons’s Under 18’s tomorrow morning knowing that finishing top of the table and subsequently gaining a play-off place is in their own hands, with the young Gunners having two games in hand, and being only two points of fellow contenders West Ham, its advantage Arsenal ahead of the 11am kick off.
Steve Bould’s side have been impressive in recent weeks, the high quality football we saw at the start of the season has been replaced with a more direct style, with the team often grinding out results, however that changed last Saturday when some of the players who have been injured or away on international duty returned and that added quality helped them demolish Cardiff City.
Bould admitted after the game that having an extra bit of quality could be vital between winning the title and not, and as we revealed on Wednesday four first choice players are back and in training, with three of them pushing for starts ahead of tomorrows game.
Those players are, Gilles Sunu, Jack Wilshere, Kyle Bartley and Henri Lansbury the first three could all starts, with Lansbury needing time to return to fitness and for Arsenal’s doctors to asses his Glandular Fever, which we explained more on the dangers of Here.
Luke Ayling went of injured against Cardiff and with Kyle Bartley returning he faces a race against time to feature, Craig Eastmond is 50:50 to play and Thomas Cruise could keep out of form Cedric Evina out, and as we told you on Wednesday, Ahmed Abdulla is on trial with fellow title contenders West Ham, and expected to start for them as they take on Leicester City.

What is going on with Nordtveit?
Nothing, Steve Bould and Neil Banfield keep the Reserves and Under 18’s seperate.
The pro players and the best scholars are with the reserves and the schoolboys and other scholars are with the Under 18s.
It seems strange that Sunu and Freeman are being used as wingers. How comfortable are they down the flanks?
Thankyou for the update Sanderson.
No problem mate.
Sunu has never really been an out and out striker, it seems we cant find a positon where he does well, he plays as a left sided play-maker for France and scores goals.
Freeman seems to have taken to it well, he pushes forward alot and has been in the goals.
its basically a 4-5-1 when we dont have the ball, and a 4-3-3 when we have.
Top Preview.
Come on you Gunners!
