Well thats what i’d call demolished. Will Afobe move up to Under 18s next year? As he looks like a great talent scoring that many goals.
Is Afobe gonna be better than Adebayor?
Lol
wow lol he’s got to move up because it seems to easy for him
why isnt afobe starting on the monday lol- the younger u start them the faster they develop!
Agree guys, Afobe should play under 18s
How old is Afobe?
Does he look like the real deal? That scoring record is obviously great, but does he live up to what that tally would suggest with his overlal play? What style of player is he? How does he compare with the other players around him?
omg so many questions.
He is the only one that got a Partnership with Nike in the U16.
Right ill try and answer all your questions guys.
Afobe should be with the Under 18s next season.
He is looking superb, he is similar to Samuel Eto’o pacy strong and perfect finisher.
He is by far the best player in the Under 16s.
Did Toulouse come To Lose? :) (sorry mate, terrible I know!)
*Cough* :D
That lifts my mood a bit after Chelsea ended our second place hopes and the U-18 lost to Villa.
Don’t get too carried away by Afobe guys. Neil Mellor set a record in goal scoring for Livepool academy (outscored Owen), and where is he now? We shall see better next year how good he really is. He is only 15 but he might be involved in the reserves though, as he is only a year younger than Wilshere.
If only Wilshere and Afobe make it at Arsenal of all the Academy boys, than Brady and co. have did a fantastic job. It would be great to have a fully home grown Arsenal product in the first XI again. We haven’t have that since Ashley Cole.
good work!!
You mean Cashley Cole
Where Was Wilshere? was he playing?
They got murked
Sounds like a great scalp for the U16! Sorry to digress slightly, but does anybody know what transpired with Dimitrov? I know we had him on trial but after that everything went quiet? Fanatastic site btw, truly one of the better ones, keep up the good work
Wilshere was playing for the U-18 the same day.
this proves once again that we have quality youngsters here…
Yes we have some quality young players but let us not forget this is the same buch of players who could not progress in the Nike Cup a few weeks ago?
Ha ha. 8 – 0 ouch. Lucky its under 16s friendly game not in a FFA cup. Oh maybe there was a country that came close to that in the world cup qualification a few years ago.
Good old Arsenal.
According to your source the Toulouse side were the U14’s, NOT the U17’s. So 8-0 is not quite as impressive.
Benik played for England at Under 12 level in 2005, in the Danone Nations Cup in Lyon, at the Stade de Gerland. The squad of boys in the England team were from all over England (Carlisle, Newcastle, Liverpool, Bristol etc).
You could tell he was a good player then, if not a tad lazy (wanted the ball at his feet & didn’t go looking for it).
