Jay Simpson Returns To Arsenal After Loan Spell

Jay Simpson will report to London Shenley for training tomorrow morning, following the completion of his loan spell at League one side Millwall.

Having scored in his final home game as a Lions player, the League One Player Of The Year travelled to Swindon knowing his side were safe from relegation, and could enjoy the final game of the campaign.

Jay started wide on the right, but knew he would have the licence to get forward and assists strikers Bas Savage and Neil Harris. Millwall made the perfect start when defender Danny Senda bagged his first goal for the club, after turning home Jem Karacan’s corner.

But with half an hour gone, Swindow were handed the chance to half the deficit from 12 yards after a foul in the area. Simon Cox stepped up and converted to level the scores at 1-1, setting up an interesting and entertaining second period.

The home side would then completed the come back, as Anthony Mcnamee fired home with 40 minutes left on the clock. Lions boss Kenny Jackett then switched the side around, bringing former Gunner Ryan Smith on for Savage meaning Simpson would now be employed up front to try and rescue a point.

However it was not enough, and Millwall slumped to defeat a disappointing way for Simpson to finish his loan spell, but no doubt his 8 goals will be vital.

Pedro Bothelho – Albacete V UD Salamanca

Pedro Botelho has shaken off his leg injuries, and returns to the Salamanca squad for their trip to face Albacete, full report on this game to come later tonight, the kick off is at 6.30pm.

Mark Randall will end his loan spell tomorrow with Burnley, full reports to come on all the Loanees tomorrow evening, including Carlos Vela’s game against Real Madrid.

Well Jay had a great season because when he started he found it tough but he stuck at it and proved he’s a good player so well done to him.

Do you know by any chance if either Kieran Gibbs or Nacer are likely to be in the team at least on the bench tomorrow?

Of course when you run a website, its important you have sources and contacts to help you.

But also common sense, and knowledge of people helps too.

I do not know yet, Mannone could be suspended.

    but expect something like this,.

    Mannone
    Gilbert – Rodgers – Thomas – Steer
    Ogogo – Dunne – Gibbs – Traore
    Simpson – Barazite/Fonte

Jay will give Wenger more options next season but I would advice him not to rush him into the first team , he can play and mature in the fa cup and the carling cup..I m sure he has a future but we must be cautious…any soccer lover who will like to interact with other fans and dicuss any soccer related issues should check out Soccer fan base dot com it is free to join.

Does anyone think Jay will make it. I’m not so sure. He is very strong and quick but lacks a trick or two for me.

Yeah Troare was great when he came on he had pace and caused problems. Eboue also played alot better when he was moved to his proper position of RB.
