Walcott Praise For "Flair Player" Carlos Vela

Arsenal’s Theo Walcott has heaped praise on fellow 19 year old forward Carlos Vela, and admits the prospect of working with the Mexican forward who is currently on loan at Spanish outfit Osasuna, is an exciting one.

In an exclusive interview with Arsenal TV, Walcott spoke about the experience of the squad and what it will take to win the title next season, but shared special praise for Vela.

“We will have Carlos Vela back next season too, he will be a nice player to work with.”

Then Walcott was asked about the Mexican’s qualities, and what he will bring to the table. It seems the England International has done his homework on Carlos and answered in a positive tone:

“He is very quick, he is a left winger so will fit in well with the squad. He is a flair player, and there is lot of them here.”

After two average performances in recent matches, Vela will be rested this evening and will start Osasuna game against Real Mallorca on the substitutes bench.

Makoun is the Lile player, he is a mini Essien, strong and aggresive good passer of the ball too.

Hahahaha at this argument between Vela and Walcott, you guys are crazy.

I cannot wait for next season. Of course Vela is not going to be like Ronaldo right away but he is going to be a good help. I can imagine next season a starting line-up (for some games at least) with Fabregas, Song, Vela, Walcott and Bendtner. If we had Merida up there behind Bendtner, then our whole team outside of defence would be U-21.

how do you think Walcott would be playing with Osasuna? He would probably not be scoring 10 goals a season. I think some people are too harsh on Vela when he has one bad game. He was the man of the match against Real Madrid in the first game and he was the man of the match against USA. The USA game was the only one I saw and he was fantastic, much better than Theo usually is.

From what you seen at Osasuna is Vela playing with a team that has no star’s yet he still shine’s he cant carry the whole team himself now just imagine next season with player’s that actually can play..Arsenal is going to be crazy next season I cant wait..

Also Vela had a great game against Athletico Madrid where he scored one i set up another. No need to bitch about either of them though tbh as there both gonna b part of our team and will be competing for different wing positions.

Carlos Vela won the under 17 FIFA World cup with Mexico and he was the leader stricker in that cup….. Carlo’s natural position is striker. He is a 9 or 9 1/2…. Osasuna’s coach is making him play as wing beacuse of Osasunas lack’s of players… I hope Arsene gives him the chance to be Adebayor partner so he can prove his greater quality… goals!
