Arsenal In Talks With Werder Bremen Midfielder Bischoff

Arsenal are in talks with German side Werder Bremen for their 21 year old versatile midfielder Amaury Bischoff, according to French website DNA.fr.

The Gunners contacted Bremen six months ago to ask about the highly rated Frenchman, but have since moved for his services. The player himself says a deal has been agreed, and he will travel to London tomorrow to undertake a medical examination before putting pen-to-paper.

Bischoff was interviewed about the move, and says is just waiting for the boss to return from the European Championships before completing the transfer.

“There are some details left to finalize, and then we wait for Arsene Wenger to return from Switzerland.”

“I hope to sign within the next days”

Amaury has recently returned from a long term injury, and admits being frustrated with his injury, and feels now is the correct time to move on.

“Arsenal is a notch above Bremen. I have returned from a long period without playing, I think now is the time to change my surroundings”

Although he was born in France, he chose to represent the country of his mothers birth Portugal. He is an Under 21 international, and joined Werder from Strasbourg in 2005.

Bischoff is a elegant yet tenacious central midfielder, who can also play wide on the right hand side. He can use both feet with equal accuracy, and is firm and aggressive in his challenges. Very much in the mould of Milan bound Mathieu Flamini.

Big thanks to “Jerome” for relaying some of this information.

In Strasbourg, he was playing left midfield, like Rosicky.
I think he’s coming for second team then he wasnt’ able to play with first team in Breme.

RVP – Zhirkov can play on the left wing, give us good balance with his left foot. David Silva would be good also but i dont like the mole on his chin which will make arsenal look an ugly team

In 3 seasons max Traore will be a better player than Zhirkov, and if you dont want Silva because of a mole then i rly duno what of what u say i can take seriously. I dont want Silva either but because i believe we dont need a player for that position…not because of any facial defects.

I dont like all this Ade bashing either, all these people slating him dont know the facts and obviously dont know much about football. Here two reasons we should be thankful we have him:

    A. Ade can only improve at his young age, and i think alot of people forget hes young, Van Persie and Eduardo are both older than him.

    B. He actually had the 5th highest convertion rate last season, out of all the forward players in the league. Thats what…20 teams, 40 strikers (seeing as most teams have 3 that get 15+ games a season then it could be more like 55) not too shabby…

Ade has a converstion rate of 23%, thats around 1 goal every 4.5 shots. I think i may have made a mistake claiming hes top 5 in converstions…i was remembering stats id seen in April, he seems to have dropped a but during May (we all know he had some poor performances towards the end of the season though). Hes still top 10 though (exact position i cant say). Also dont forget hes not just a Target man, he brings other players into the game aswell and gets his fair share of assists and often plays a part in creating goal scoring opertunities. Personally hes what i call a total striker, cuz hes not a second striker like Rooney, but hes not a Target man like Santa Cruz, hes inbetween, he can do either role and do it well, often switching between the roles during a single match (playing off his partner and letting his partner play off him), a total footballer for a total footballing team.

I worry that because Bischoff, Fabregas and Nasri are of similar appearance and height passing on the pitch could be confusing.

It didn’t seem to affect Spain negatively

This signing, if it indeed happens is just a F**KING JOKE
What the hell is going on??????
Denilson & Diaby are two inexperienced central/right sided midfileders, the inexperienced Song who can play central & of course we have our old mate Eboue too.
What the hell do we want this injury prone, totally inexperienced guy for????? He’s never kicked a ball in the Bundisliga for God’s sake!!
Wenger – in your point blank refusal to sign any experience you are making it really really hard to keep the faith.
Buy someone like Senna on a short term deal until Denilson/Song, whoever is ready to play next to Cesc or if you just want to be a tight c**t as usual then bloody just play Gilberto there.
F**k it – I’m sick of this shit!!
