Picture Exclusive – Carlos Vela Poses With Arsenal Shirt

Regular blog readers will know Young Guns has a close relationship with Carlos Vela News, and our very good friends have come up with a spectacular exclusive picture. It shows the 19 year old posing with the famous red and white shirt at Houston international airport.

The photo was snapped by a fan, who spotted the Arsenal starlet as he was leaving the terminal after playing and scoring for Mexico against Belize two weeks ago. Vela was handed the shirt and asked for a picture, and of course he duly obliged. We have it on good authority he even kissed the logo. Nice job Carlos!.

Excellent work from everybody involved, you can view the photograph by clicking the thumbnail below.

    Great JS.
You have a great future as a top sports journalist (I have to remember the name).

This photo would have been more priceless if the guy who handed him the jersey would have stood next to Carlos Vela for the snap.

Nice and cheeky photo anyways! :-)

J, although I want Nasri too sign and soon – i cant help thinking that the signing is delayed for a reason ! to take to focus off other transfer deals being done – if you remember ages ago i listed arshavin in players i would sign if i was the boss – he also made comments on BBC about Spanish players who play abroad now and some that will soon – very un Wenger-like

Hey JS, great post once again :)
I’ve got some news for you, I was reading through the ‘La provence’ newspaper on the internet, and there’s this story:

    http://www.laprovence.com/articles/2008/06/25/497985-Region-en-direct-Ben-Arfa-a-l-OM-officiel.php

It basically says that Lyon and Marseille have reached an agreement and in the next few hours, Ben Arfa should be attending a medical…

Now, the reason this is important is because i heard from sources that the Nasri deal is dependent on Marseille’s ability to buy Ben Arfa…I heard they want to provide the Fans with a quick replacement, so this is the reason i feel the transfer is being delayed.

Hope this is some use to you, and my fellow arsenal fans :D

This is class about Vela, whether he plays a lot or not, he is already a legend in my eyes.

He slags off Spurs and kisses the badge in an informal photo. The only thing he can do now is score a hat-trick against spurs at the Emirates and shite hart lane.
I think he will be here for a very long time, maybe even he will never leave, i hope it’s the latter cos i really like the look of this kid!

I just looked on the Marseille website and saw nothing about Ben Arfa.

As I said yesterday I think this protracted transfer saga is just an attempt from JP Bernes to make a monkey out of Wenger. I mean, it shouldn’t be this difficult; either you won’t to play for Arsenal or you don’t, simple as.

There’s gonna be a lot of expectation for Nasri to make an immediate impact. 15 mill is a lot of money for a 20 year old, and would make him our record signing. Love Carlos’ man-bag in the photo!

The nasri deal was completed last week. Nasri has already had a medical and has been to the emirates. Nasri had an agreement not to announce it until marsielle bought hatem ben arfa. Like i said first on here. It will be announced this evening or tomorrow morning………. Also adebayor will not be going anywhere unless a club meets the valuation of the player. (£31 million) Arshavin, David villa, Guiza, and all the other rumoured players will not be coming. Only one more new face apart from nasri will be coming in.

Well, I wrote an e-mail for the webmaster of Arsenal.com, and he told me that all infomation is at their webstie, so they can’t say anything new about Samir.
I think that Ben Arfa will roll on our situation. He will sign today to OM, so they can leave Nasri. (And I hope that the money was given to Marseille from Arsenal.)
It’s just a time wasting to sit in front of the computer and waiting for the official announcement Nasri. The life won’t stop if he won’t come.

Is it only me who thinks that Guiza is a shocking player?
Villa would improve any squad, as would Arshavin and if we lost Hleb or Adebayor I would hope we’d have the ambition to sign one of these two- but news that we’re signing a decent centre back or holding midfielder would mean more than Nasri to me- it feels like we’re losing Hleb if we sign Nasri and that certainly isn’t a good swap :(

We have alot of attacking players already at arsenal theo, vela, rvp, adebayor, eduardo, bendtner, rosicky, nasri, ramsey, cesc, barazite, randall, the majestic, powerful, intelligent eboue(joke-shittest midfielder i have seen in my life and any other reincarted lives i may live!!!! No goals this season… a midfielder who played the majority of the season AT ARSENAL and scored no goals. NO GOALS. NO GOALS. he got sent off more than he scored goals. NO GOALS. Sagna who has had his first season at arsenal and is playing right back scored more than him(againt chelsea too).NO GOALS. NO GOALS I said to my mum “Hey mummy, no goals, why no goals, where’d his goals go? I hated him so much this season with his predictable play, his discipline, terrible shooting, even that face he pulls when he does something wrong, which is every game…Just watch this seasons games again, you’ll know what i mean..

I think the Nasri deal could be announced tomo. The logical reason for Marseille to wait is so that they could announce a replacement player Nasri before or just after he leaves, so as to soften the blow of their star player and local boy leaving. They have done this tonight with the announcement on the official site of Ben Arfa signing. Hopefully this will now free up Arsenal to announce the deal sometime in the very near future.

Gibbs and Randall will have tough seasons in the fringes, i think personally they will go out on loan again.

Lansbury needs to start playing again before we can consider him a prospect again. His illness will have taken alot out of his body, and we need to see what state he will be in come the start of the season.
