Bendtner's Wise Words To Arsenal Youngster Rasmussen

Arsenal’s Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner has revealed how he has been taking time out to offer advice and help fellow countryman Jonas Rasmussen settle in at the club.

Rasmussen joined the Gunners last summer from French side Auxerre, and Bendtner admits he has been watching the 16 year old for the youth teams, and has been offering some confidence boosting words.

“I have seen him play several times, and i have tried to pass on some good advice.”

“Always keep faith in your talents, work hard and show you are dedicated in training.”

Jonas is entering his second year as an Arsenal player, and the coming campaign promises to be his most productive yet after finishing the season in Steve Bould’s Under 18 side.

Although he is yet to score for the Academy team, he marked his Under 16 debut with a goal, and has already played with Nicklas during the 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids in March.

Whilst Bendtner junior is currently on his holidays, the 20 year olds father Thomas has rebuffed claims he is set for a transfer to AC Milan. Italian sports newspaper Corriere dello Sport reported last week that Milan were ready to make an offer for the young forward.

“It is not something we have heard a sound about,” “Not at all.”

Both Nicklas and Jonas look set for bright futures with the club.

Any forward position. He has featured mostly on the right wing, but can also play as a striker or in central midfield.

Bright future for Bendtner. It’s also good his father has his best interests at heart too and isn’t swayed by money.

Slightly worried about Bendtner’s long term future- he has said in the past that he dreams of playing for Milan or Real Madrid…by the time he establishes himself at Arsenal we could be in for another player linked constantly to those classless clubs

Aside from the terrible use of the English language, J, can you please take a firm line on needless homophobia like i assume you would with racism or sexism. none of that shit is right and arsenal are supposed to be a righteous and accepting club. ‘gay’ should not be used as an insult you fucking moron, it’s peoples fucking choice who they are attracted to and it doesn’t make them a better or worse person because of it.

(All in time for me to get in a fight with some butch lady who likes only other masculine ladies for the third year in a row as i go drinking with my flaming brother this saturday of our proud (pride?) saturdays…

Freedom of speech Samuel! This a blog not the house of parliament! He did not say anything about anyone being better than anyone else. We use the term black in such negative ways does that make us racist. Gay can mean happy, homosexual and in modern youth culture it is a descriptive word used to indicate that something is not cool, not held in esteem etc. No big deal!

You come on here effing and blinding and you have the audacity to criticise a little boy for using the word gay in a derogatory manner, how and hypocritical of you. Oh maybe you see it as a personal assualt on your sexuality? Maybe you should join gay rights international or something and leave us to speak freely without have to watch our every word.

Firstly.. proven “write”? wtf its right mate.

secondly i posted all the links to my claims, there were other people who made the claims, i just passed the info on to you.

Your comment was deleted the first time for excess swearing, which makes you look stupid. Younger children use this website, and yes i admit i have sworn before, but your was unneeded.

People will judge this site on the quality of info, i have often provided correct and exclusive info before anywhere else, and yet i get no praise for that.

You are the embarssement Me because you come here making petty stupid comments trying to show me up when infact 99% of people here love my work. I applogise for the fact Nasri has not signed, but once more i gave all my links to the claims.

If you do not like this website.. save your time bitching and go elsewhere.

Not that i have to answer myself to you anyway.

oh yeah, whilst the sangria is letting me preach, as far as im concerned: getting needlessly jumped up about minor, obviously unprejudiced use of the word gay does no one any good and detracts from genuine homophobia. that was clearly not deregatory or meantto cause offence, so chill out dude.

J.S. Great site, great work. There are a lot of folk from all around the world who really appreciate the effort you are putting in here.

However, as much I hate putting more work on your plate, I think you should turn on comment approval on your blog, so you prevent coments like “Opinionated” and “arthur” (who may be the same person). Ignorant language like he spews should not be tolerated on any public forum, whether he pretends it is “a descriptive word used to indicate that something is not cool” does not defend the use of a derogatory word. The N-Word has the same ‘street’ use, but I’m sure that wouldn’t be tolerated either.

Anyhow……. keep on bringing it on.

Cnt wait to see more of Rasmussen cuz ive heard hes technically very talented, seen a bit of him already but not much to build an opinion.

Im very exited about Bendtner, he can potentially be better than Adebayor by the time he reaches Ade’s age, i think we’ll see him up his scoring tally next season and make a much larger impact on matches.

    A. Just cuz he hasnt signed yet doesnt meen he wont sign.

    B. J is just reporting with the information he is given, as are all the massive media giants like the papers and Sky who keep saying hes about to sign, so its not like hes making it up.

    C. He probably deleates ur posts because rarely do i see u post with out managing to act abusive in some way towards or about some1.

However, the Nasri thing has burnt my fingers a little. This is my first six months in blogging, and i have learnt so much.

I accept critical comments from people who point out the good points, and then offer helpful improvements.. not idiots who come and say “once again i am ‘write'”.

And apparently i am the immature one?

anyway. “Me” will not be posting anymore on this blog, and if im a bull shitter he wont want to read it anyway :)

I’m straight, it doesn’t mean I can’t be offended by ignorance. If someone said “But he’s a nigga” or something, it would be seen as a disgusting comment and if the person who said it thought his name was the happy connetation (sp?) of ‘gay’, he would have just said happy. Or the many other, less awkward version of the word. Ignorance doesn’t help life whether in large or tiny amounts and while people still use such derogatory terms to insult (yes, black people use ‘nigga’, doesn’t mean a white boy like me is gonna start spouting such a loaded word around) the bigger stuff still isn’t gonna be sorted. If people can’t even change the way they use a word, how the hell are they gonna stop being hateful?

Oh, and general swearing is nowhere near the same. Saying ‘fuck’ doesn’t offended the Fuckish people now doesn’t it.

    J. Sanderson,

Stop being goaded into a war of words. I have also been critical of your work, when you have been too easily tempted into the sensationalsim of “silly-season” and feel at times some of your supporters may delude your own progress with this whole writing lark.

But, fair plays to you, the reports here are often excellent, sometimes less is more, and I just would like to see you being slightly more selective on what is news-worthy.

Overall, it is a good start for you with Young Guns and as you can be honest and say you have made mistakes and learnt from them, then fair plays to you.

“Me” has clearly grown frustrated with the Nasri saga and you are a good as target as any!

as for the gay issue. im stronglgy against homophobia.. whys it my buisness as to who someone is else rooting?..
however i do let the` thats gay` slip out once in a while.. its not meant in an actual homosexual way… but its hard when your whole childhood speak like that, it just becomes part or your vocab.

will be making more of an effort in the future…

Wow, i had no idea Wenger could actually eat an entire horse haha!
Also i must say that this is my favourite Arsenal site but people must realise that when J says something and adds the link, he is passing on info so can people stop shooting the messenger! If you have an issue with the Nasri thing i suggest you go to either Arsenal.com or the marseilles website and write to them about it! Thats where all the stories start one way or another so if you want to take it out on anyone take it out on them!
Everyone that has read this site for quite a while can see the amount of effort that J puts in and is very rarely praised when he gets stuff right BUT still carries on regardless, fair play to you mate!

Can i go off topic for just one moment. If Adebayor goes, do people think that Wenger will buy a replacement? I don’t know why but i have a feeling that he wouldn’t. I think that he will choose to reward Bendtner and promote him to first team regular as he is in the same sort of mould anyway and already fits in so wouldn’t even need to settle in! If he doesn’t promote Bendtner then i really would like us to buy Santa Cruz, he is real class and i think he would do the business for us!

    J,

Great site….behind Le Grove it is the blog i check the most….keep up the good work, love reading about the kids and how they’re getting on as no one else covers it properly. As for all this bulls*** about ‘gay’ and this Me fella, can everyone just grow up a little bit? Who really gives two Sh*ts about what gets written on a web blog comment list? Most likely Me is 14 years old and the people who take offence or defend the use of the word ‘gay’ are bored and fancy proving how politically enlightened they are..let it be boys and girls.

There are bigger concerns….like where the f*** is Nasri and why have Spurs signed so many more players than us? I would’ve had Gomes for sure….

Violent attacks on homosexuals have increased by seventy percent in the five years that the word gay has been used to mean “crap”. It does matter. The violence is real. It Kills.
Thankfully this usage is dying out…. not cool.
