Bischoff Proves Fitness & Signs Arsenal Contract

Arsenal have today confirmed the signing of former Werder Bremen midfielder Amaury Bischoff, with the Portuguese Under 21 International penning a one year contract, with the option of a second should he impress.

Amaury rejected the offer of a new contract with the German outfit last month, and quickly announced to the press he was set to join Arsenal, describing the transfer as a ‘dream’. He has been working hard for the past month in the gym at London Colney in a bid to improve his fitness after a thigh injury last season, and has done enough to become the latest addition to the squad.

Bischoff will wear the number 28 shirt made famous by Kolo Toure, and will meet with his new team mates on Thursday following their return from Tonight’s friendly against VfB Stuttgart. The 21 year old has already confirmed he will be playing Reserves team football in the early stages of his Arsenal career.

Young Guns has put together two articles to offer you in depth information about our latest recruit, with a Fans View, and a Player Biography.

And he is not the certain signing that wenger was talking about, wenger said he would get an experienced player,

wenger brought in bischoff(period). eboue is a superior athlete, power speed and size, two years ago i was comparing him to cafu. he’s still relatively young and i expect him to be much improved this year. and it’s true walcott’s defensive frailties don’t help eboue and walcott badly needs to develop confidence and aggression. walcott is too laid back on the pitch, walcott go after it son.

Some fans are full of shit. Period. They dilute the collective intelligence of the fanbase and calling some of them stupid would be an insult to stupid people.I don’t know what makes em so stupid, but it really works! If u wanna recomend players AW should buy; then you must have found Clichy, Fabregas ,
toure, Vela ,Eduardo, Wilshere et al first.Right? Armchair Morons!

wenger has nothing to lose with this signing,if he proves him self in year and gets his fitness then he will get another year, but he is not major signing,i think wenger willever go wide player aor another central midfielder hopefully between 23-27.
