Arsenal's Liam Brady In 'Stable' Condition In Hospital

Arsenal’s Head Of Youth Development officer Liam Brady was rushed to Hospital in the early hours of this morning after arriving back from Norway with The Republic Of Ireland complaining of feeling unwell.

Brady – Ireland boss Giovanni Trapattoni’s assistant manager – touched down in Dublin at 2am this morning, but quickly complained of illness and was taken to Beaumont Hospital in the capital.

The Arsenal legend is being kept in for tests and analysis, although early prognosis appears to be positive with an FAI spokesman issuing the following statement.

“Liam Brady was feeling a bit unwell this morning and as a precautionary measure he went into hospital where he is in a stable condition, and lucid,”

‘Chippy’ was expected back at the Gunners Colney training centre tomorrow as Steve Bould’s Under 18’s prepare for the new season, but Liam’s illness has taken everybody by surprise and has put back the Academy’s plans.

Everybody at Young Guns would like to offer best wishes to Liam and his family, and wish Chippy a speedy recovery ahead of his 12th campaign as Arsenal’s Head Of Youth Development officer.
