Inter Milan Awaiting Agency Out Come With Wilshere

Inter Milan’s transfer chief Marco Branca is keeping close tabs on the situation between Jack Wilshere and Italian based Sports Agency Pasqualin D’Amico, with a view to potentially signing the highly rated youngster.

Young Guns first broke news of Pasqualin D’Amico’s interest in the Arsenal play-maker two weeks ago, and although Jack is already with the Base Soccer agency, the company confirmed the news to us last week. Mr D’Amico himself e-mailed the website to admit his interest, and tell us that he is ready to meet the 16-year-old and his parents to thrash out a deal.

We have since learnt that Internazionale’s head of transfers, Branca, has a close association with both partners, and should they manage to tie up the rights to represent the youngster, the former striker will attempt to bring Wilshere to the Italian Champions.

Branca has close connections with England through his time in Middlesbrough, scoring several important goals for Boro’, and is known to be a huge admirer of the Premiership, even bringing in Sulley Muntari from Portsmouth in August.

Jack signed scholar terms during the summer, but the deal is not in danger as the forms have an indefinite option to turn the scholarship into a professional contract on his 17th birthday.

However, regardless of this – Inter believe they can poach the prospect from the Gunners, with Pasqualin D’Amico ready to market the Stevenage born Wilshere with the same ‘Little Magician’ campaign they did with legendary forward Alessandro Del Piero.

In other news, be sure to check out ArseNews’ analysis of the record breaking youngsters from the 6-0 rout over Sheffield United in midweek.

Yeh Fuck off Inter your not gettin Wilshere from us, also cant see why Wilshere would want to go to the Italian league as these days its shite, the EPL is far better. I am also confident that Wilshere having been brought through the academy and given his big break with us will stay loyal.

It’s an investment in potential, really right now Wilshere is probably only worth £5-6 million, but potentially, he could be worth £30-40 million.

I’d be gutted if this happened, let’s hope it doesn’t.

Inter doesn’t even give youth a chance so why would someone leave their country to go and play for a club that values 30 year olds more. Cesc and the others take the chance to leave their country because they know they are going to play for Arsene Wenger.

10m in todays market buys you Jonathan Elmander.
10m is peanuts compared to what Wilshire is worth to this team.

I would not be surprised if Mourinhio is behind this, he has a habit of destabilising players..remember ashley cole.

God yes. You really think Barca would have let Bojan go for 10m at the start of last season?

It’s quite simple really: You have a great product, which is only going to evolve to be the Best product. It will make life alot easier and put smiles on thousands, millions of faces even. The product loves you back and wants to do well at the club, a place he can realistically win everything. Oh, and that 10m can change to be 50m or even 135m if that City figure for Ronaldo is what we are basing this on, in 5 years time. Every single way you look at this, it doesn’t make sense. So we’d say no.

I don’t blame Inter for seeking him, it only proves that we have the best 16 year old in the whole wide world right now. Jack will never leave us for Inter, it’s that simple. He is our best prospect and even if he was excited (which I seriously doubt) than I am sure Wenger will be able to turn him the right way. Mourinho would just ruin his career, Arsenal is the place to be.

We have to consider ourselves fortunate though, that no young player has been stolen from us (apart from that Abdulla guy maybe and few other shitkickers).

That’s be because Inter under their manager Arsene Wenger have the best reputation in Europe for developing young talent and giving those players a chance on the big stage. Vieira, Henry, Clichy, Fabregas, Kolo Toure… the list of young players given a fantasticv opportunity by Inter is long and illustrious. Any young player would want to sign for Inter. Arsenal should be worried….

You know what I really really hate; when clubs start messing with the parents’ heads. I think jack knows he’s in the right pace but i know not what his parents think, hopefully they’re as level headed as their son appears to be. I speak with bitterness as crystal palace are my local club and they are in trouble with the chariman wanting to leave after the john bostock affair. what makes it worse is that it is spurs that caused all the trouble.

I don’t think Wilshere will leave; after all how many young english kid would swop the premier league for serie A? I look forward to many many years of wilshere magic at the emirates stadium.

    Lol.

Why would Wilshere leave Arsenal at 16, if at all?

He is doing exceptionally well and knows how to play the English game. He is under Wenger and just scored a near record-breaking goal in the Carling Cup. He seems to be progressing and is moving up to the senior side in spades at 16 years of age. He is doing well and perhaps that is why Inter are interested but if he is doing so well, then thats even more reason why he should stay. Under Wenger, he is doing fantasically well, why leave?

Arsenal are top of the table right niw and Wilshere gets playing time at 16 mostly because of Wenger’s philosiphy. What more can be done to satisfy a young, homegrown player at 16?

We’re a wonderfully crafted team who focuses on youth, almost opposite to Inter, who just bought Del Piero, and Wilshere has already secured a professional contract with his performances. The other youngsters should be worried but he shouldn’t. At all. Even if he were injured for the majority of the season, I still think he would get a professional contract with one or two more performances at the end of the season.

Mourinho has never been one to field youth anyway, hes not really interested in the whole youth development phenomenon. Liverpool beat Inter in the CL and we lost to Liverpool, but narrowly. Its not like Inter are a much better team and its not like we’re the underdogs. I don’t even think we need to sell our best youth products to Inter for 10 million, when we know and Inter know, he has amazing potential. The “little magician” tag is fitting but hes not Inter’s wizard, he is ours. Besides, hes homegrown. And thats awesome. Our best youth product and a future captain.

J, I am also entitled to my opinion, why would he want to change agent when he already has one [Only to make more money, but destroy his career which i dont think his parents and Wenger will will want].

Also Inter’s scout have the right to look at Wilshere just like Arsenal have the right to look at Messi but they wouldnt be getting him and have you seen Inter gigantic squad, so why would he giving up coaching at arsenal and playing 1st team football. Also why would “Base Soccer” rip up the contract of their most talented client and thats why i dont think its true even though i dont blame that Italian agency if they showing interest.

Keep up your good work but that doesnt mean you dont anything wrong

Wilshere is the type of player everyone wants and a prototype that I’m sure Wenger was striving for in the youth system. Why the hell would we sell our magicians as soon as they appear?

Hopefully, we don’t have to “balance” the books as Wenger has to say, and we are able to keep him regardless of what Inter offer.

Most parents are party to their childrens decisions and everyone knows The Arsenal is the best club in europe for developing talent. I think everyone should stop fretting. I agree with Kent Paul, we cannot get all high and mighty when someone does what we have been doing for years. I think the difference here though is that whilst we are normally taking players from smaller leagues, and giving them a chance on a bigger stage, this would be a case of swapping like for like, and also a fruitless exercise for Wilshire who is getting a game at 16 years old, something that would never happen in a billion years at Inter. a club who spent how much on Adriano? I think we should all chillax and be proud that our boys are the talk of the town, again.

I know it’s been hashed over, but of course we wouldn’t sell on Wilshere for 10m now. As mentioned, his value right now, limited only to his play on the pitch is probably 3-4m, but players are rarely rated purely on their play. With a player who can only increase his level of play (high as it already is), and at his age, it would be foolish for the club to rate him even at 10m. The other factors: being English makes Jack MUCH more marketable, especially in England, and as we all know, English players always cost more (rightly or not). Our most marketable player is not Cesc, who is our best player, but Theo. Think we’d rate Theo at 5-10 m now, even with so much growing yet to be done? I think not.

The up side is that he has already become “noticed” at such an age which only proves the validity of Arsene’s youth policy.
I’m sure Jack is as emotionally mature as he is on the field and will therefore, surely poo-poo the Inter-est shown in him by a bunch of corrupt fakes and has- beens that reside at the San Siro.

    A couple points:

    1. A lot of people are assuming what Wilshere wants or what he’s going to do. I’ve never actually read or seen an interview with him, let alone known him to let you all in on his career plan. You can say it’s very unlikely the club would sell him, and that it’s unlikely someone in his position would change it radically, but to assume that he does want to do something is a bit naive, and incredibly annoying.

    2. Jose was actually starting to impliment a working youth system, (obviously not on our scale), at Chelsea. He said at the start of his last season he’d start to promote some kids like Sinclair and a couple others. We’ve talked about it on here before. He’s also made Balotelli Inter’s Crespo replacement and has said that he’s not just going to buy – although when moving to a new club a couple buys are obviously going be made by any manager.

    3. Ummm… why are people on here claiming Del Piero was signed by Inter? In what bizarro world would Del Piero play anywhere but Juve?

    4. Jack is starting to garner hype not seen in an English player since Beckham and Owen. He’s alwight to look at, white (part of the reason Theo will never unfortunatly be offered the big sponsership/advertising bucks Beckham/Owen was), and extremely talented in a sea of rubbish in his age group. He is undoubtably going to be the star of his England team for ten years the same way Beckham was (unless something horrible like a tragic injury or something, but that looms over every player). He is looking at Beckham/Owen figures of MONEY MONEY MONEY (as is the club in association). It’s really not that surprsing that at the start of his professional career he is finding the best suitor to achieve this the way he (and the club) want it to happen.

    5. Only way he ever leaves, as far as I’m concerned, is for £100m+ or at the end of his contract. Look at how much Messi has made Barca in sponsership/new fans across the world/advertising, Beckham at Utd etc. etc. why we would ever get rid of such a venture (for Platini) at the start, I can’t think of a reason. And then, oh yeah, he looks like an OK footballer ;) .

Spike: As someone essentially raised on Serie A (well, it was so much better when me and my friends started getting into football like every young boy, in the mid nineties ((bar Bergkamp and Wright))) and so called ‘anti-football’, I have a lot more respect for Jose than most Arsenal fans. But also, there is a lot of difference between a bastion of youth development (Wenger, Rijkaard) and every other big club great manager who just uses a youth system like it really should be – on the off chance a cracking player comes through or a squad player etc. Jose wasn’t allowed to do this, the same way Scholari is more inclined to take a 33year old Miniero than promote a youngster.

Being at Chelsea and being at a top Italian club is a lot different though, and Inter fans will expect Jose to essentially do what he wanted to do before he left Chelsea. He was starting to move for cheaper, more effective buys instead of your Shevchenkos, and was promising to integrate the likes of Sinclair and whoever (I don’t remember the names of Chelsea youths). Italian football prides itself on creating homegrown superstars, I really wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple come through under Mourinho. I think it’s pretty unfair to judge any manager on their time at pre-Abu-Diaby-City Chelsea.

BTW, I was only teasing fella!

    I would say this though;

I loved Serie A during the 90s; Veron, Nedved being 2 of my favourite players. But it was due to this perceived influx of foreigners, Italys demise etc that Serie A is now chock full of native players. And seeing as they are the world champs, it will be expected to carry on I suppose!

Jose will be TOLD to play local lads, it will not necessarily be his doing mate. But I aint saying he is against developing youth, Im just saying; he’s a c*nt! Oops! Slap my wrists!

Milan know Arsenal have no intention of selling Wilshere and I am 100% sure of this. It wouldn’t suprise me if Mourinho statrted this rumour himself to unsettle the lad and Arsenal supporters. This really is a pile of crap story, quantified by saying ‘he took Sully Muntari to Milan’, that is just hilarious.
There’s far too many footy sites publishing crap these days in the hope of getting a few extra ‘hits’ on the website. Sad to see a Gooner site go down that route.

Oh ffs, this is a non story. Wilshere is NOT going to Inter and they aren’t even seriously going to offer 10 mil for him. Just because you have access to the internet it doesn’t mean you should print everything you hear.
Every twat with a computer writes a blog these days.

Hope he just keeps his dad as his agent. Footballer’s now days are too quick to give their professional life over to their agents. Keep it in the family regarding business.

please PLEASE do not give Jose Mourinho CREDIT for developing kids… what are you on about?

I remember precisely when he said… “Carlton Cole… I make Cole player.” Er…

Mourinho is a 4 year contract with a three year plan type of manager… he will never sew the roots of a Wenger or Fergie. No chance. His goal is to boost his CV and he has neither the foresight nor patience to nuture a player like Wilshere.

Think about how long he used Makelele and how old his core Chelsea side was… that they DO have some prospects (poor ones IMO) does not suggest that Mourinho was particularly interested in ever progressing Sinclair, Sahar or Carlton Cole. In fact, time has proven quite the opposite.

Would be a great shame if he left. But seems unlikely, Im sure Jack and his family would be aware that Wenger would be much better for his development than Mourinho who is more likely to stifle it than anything. Also Wenger seems to be very excited about Jacks potential, more so than any other youngster at his time at arsenal. i think this shows that he sees Jack as a top top potential. Something that has been proved with his performances, the rest of the squad seem to rate him highly as well. i expect him to have a long future at arsenal.

This is one big smokescreen to sign the only player Jose really wants for Internazionale, Mr. Fat Frank Lampard. Mourinho would never throw down this kind of money for a youth product for the Italian league, however he would throw £15-20m for Chelsea’s little scorer though, I reckon.

Besides, if Inter really wants to play this game, we should sign their wunderkid Mario Balotelli (hah, now I would take him in a hot minute, even though Jack is fantastic)
