Glad to see Bischoff is starting. Should be a great game, looking forward to watching the likes of Merida, Wilshere and Vela in action.

He will either be brilliant.. or he will flop.. There seems to be no middle ground with Jay.

Also, do you think we might see any other debuts tonight? Would kind of like to see how Fonte does.

How’s he been doing in the reserves? Simpson’s been playing up front hasn’t he? So it won’t be 4-5-1 with him on the left like he was at Millwall? Ever since I unsubscribed to atvo my knowledge of all this has dramatically gotten worse.

Jay, looking at this midfield lineup, do you think the boss has overdone the signing of players that are similar to Cesc, and left some exposure for the other type of midfielders? Namely defensive/covering midfielders and pacey wingers with a good cross.

Randall, Ramsey, Wilshere, Denilson, Bischoff, Diaby, Lansbury, Frimpong, Merida. I just hope the talent in these guys extends to their ability to develop properly in the other roles and that they get the opportunity. Otherwise most of them are not going to get much of a look in which is a real shame.

Oz: Randall played as a terrific DM against Sheff Utd, Wilshere is Hleb like, Bischoff a no. 10, Vieira like Diaby, isn’t Frimpong a DM? Well have playmakers in abundance but not all our the same, even they all have creative elements to their game. COYYG.

Amazing lads. Simpson took his chance and Vela showed, again, that he is capable of amazing goals.
