Gilles Sunu and Francis Coquelin were in action as the French Under 18’s played out an exciting two legged clash with their German counterparts.

Pedro Botelho played the full 90 minutes as UD Salamanca’s frustrating run of form continued against Huesca. It finished 0-0.

Why do I think Lansbury is going to break into the first team and become a bonifide goalscorer for us from the midfield?
He’s that good. Very similar to a young Gerrard. Let’s hope he gets the opportunity to shine at Arsenal.
He’ll need to somehow pip Song and Denilson to get into the rotation…think he can do that next season.

I have rated Henri Lansbury very highly ever since i saw him in the euro under 17 championships. when he single handly got england to the final against spain but got injured in the semi final against France. The guy is like a gerrard, fabregas, he drives the team foward.

I heard he rejected la liga, premiership and championship offers to go to league 1. Shows the kids got the right attitude. Hes looks taller as well. Watching the highlights he looked 6ft 1

Hi! Just watched the Hungarian U17 against England on Tv. Afobe played the whole game and scored one, Freeman came on for the last 10 minutes. First time for me to see Afobe play, he looks very decent, but his control wasn’t perfect. His goal was a one on one with a keeper, where his first shot was saved, but he was lucky with the rebound and put it away from thight angle. Freeman looked very sharp, he caused a lot of problems for the tired Hungarian defenders. He created two good chances for himself, but missed both.
Fun Fact: the game was played in the same stadium where Arsenal met Szombathely in the pre-season.

I’m so sick of all these people going on about Wilshire, always checking what’s happening when he hasn’t been making loud noises for a few weeks. Just relax, let him build up slowly and have some patience.
