Celta Vigo Sign Botelho – Dunne Joins Exeter

Celta Vigo have reached an agreement with Arsenal wing-back Pedro Botelho for the Brazilian to move to the Estadio Balaídos for the whole of next season.

Botelho will complete the second part of a medical and be presented on Monday morning. He joins Vasco Fernandes, David Català and Cristian Bustos in making the move to Celta Vigo from Salamanca during the summer. Botelho, who made 27 appearances for UD Salamanca last season, will earn the criteria needed for a work permit in January. This means the 19-year-old is free to rejoin Arsenal next summer.

In other news, James Dunne has sealed a switch to Exeter City. The 19-year-old impressed during pre-season has earned himself a reported one-year-deal. He signed professional terms in 2007 and was a regular for Neil Banfield’s second-string before spending a spell at Nottingham Forest last season.

Young Guns would like to wish both players the best of luck for the future.

I’d have Ramsey over Diaby, but Arsene likes Diaby’s physical characteristics. As for Denilson, he’s so different to Ramsey – but I’d personally have him in my team. He’s a very underrated player. Ramsey is ready for the EPL though.

Denilson man that boy got stamina hes always playing 90 mins of football. Surely Wenger has to rest him. Denilson for me needs to play like how he did against roma at the emirates. He needs to play like that in the premiership

For many players in Spain, to play for Celta is like to play in Primera. Celta is in Second Division, rigth, but just remember than 4 years ago we played a Champions League match at the Emirates. We were into administration 1 year ago, but that’s over and we’ll be fighting for promotion this season.

On the other hand, Botelho is not holding an EU passport. That means that is very difficult that a Primera side could be interested in signing him. Only three players from outside the EU can play in Primera under the Spanish Proffessional Competitions Law, so those places are usually for strikers or midfielders.

Regard and let’s hope Pedro Botelho will make a brilliant season for Celta, that would be good for both teams…

Guys the england under 19 game is live today on eurosport i think its at 6.30 england vs ukraine

Brian Eastick hasnt got a clue so have most of the english coaches. They rely on pace and power and defensive tactics. I cant believe Nile ranger is ahead of Rhys murphy.

Annoyingly I don’t have eurosport, but I’m going to try and stream it. Either way there’ll be a match report after the game has concluded as well as one of Vela’s game last night.

YH also Fran merida is playin hes the best player on the park. Alecsic has really disappointed me arsenal have been watching him but his club on serbia want 12 million. Adem Ljajic has been poor as well but hes playin as a right winger but hes better through the middle

Thought Lansbury normally played in the middle for the u19s, he’s playing out wide tonight, scored a penalty in the first half though.

The england under 19s are hopeless. No technical ability there. Henri Lansbury is a central midfielder hes brilliant there. I dont know why england played him on the right. Gosling is a quality central midfielder and he plays him on the left wing. What a joke. Eastick a joke and his negative tactics ie long balls and relying on pace and power of nile ranger, briggs, walker, welbeck

That matthew briggs doesnt have a clue of how to defend. Luke Ayling is better centre half than him
