Watch Aneke's England Winner + Video Interview

He’s regarded as one of the most exciting players in the Arsenal Academy, and Chukwuemeka Aneke showed exactly why with a superb winner for England’s Under 17’s against Portugal in the week.

The leggy London-born midfielder has been struggling with an illness throughout the Football Assosiation’s annual Under 17 International Tournament, but came on in the 56th minute for Saido Berahino in the competitions final game. A superb curling finish into the bottom corner proved to be decisive from Chuks after fellow Gunners Benik Afobe and Josh Rees had chances to break the deadlock. England failed to win the trophy but coach John Peacock seemed happy with his charges.

BTW Aaronb ramsey scored a class goal. Wales under 21s are bette than England under 21s they are better technically.

Also George Thorne looks a class talent. I think Arsenal should sign him up

J, when I click the link I just get the match report, saying “You can watch highlights from England’s victory over Portugal tomorrow afternoon with exclusive interviews with John Peacock, Liam Moore and goal-hero Chuks Aneke.” at the end of it. How do I actually watch the goal and interview?

Guv – go to the link, and underneath the squad picture there should be a tiny picture with a triangle on it. Click that and the highlights and interviews will play.

Thanks Tony, should’ve noticed that. Great stuff from Chuks, although he might want to work on his interview skills! Sancidino Silva looked promising.
