Video – Watch Lansbury's First Professional Goal

Henri Lansbury scored his professional goal on Saturday afternoon, when the 18-year-old bagged Scunthorpe United’s second in their 4-2 defeat to Swindon.

After skipping past two challenges, Lansbury coolly finished beyond the on rushing goalkeeper in a fixture which the Iron were dominating. Two second half red cards saw United fall apart and they ended up being on the end of a 4-2 rout.

You can see Henri’s goal, and all the highlights from the encounter in the video player on the right hand side of the link below. Enjoy.

Shame about his injury’s so far, would have been well ahead of Randall in the pecking order if not for missing a good year.Similar with Murphy seems to always get bad injury’s while on a good run of form.

This is completely irrelevant JS, but I just got a massive, massive sense of Deja Vu.

Always got the feeling that attitude problems were going to be his downfall a la bentley. What do you reckon J? Long time reader keep up the sterling work.

Heu JS, you got any news on Jack Wilshere? Didn’t see him on the training pics, he’s hasn’t been in any A-squad for a long time.

if i’m not mistaken, before he got injured, people think he one of the best talent in the club. i honestly think he still one of the best young center midfielder at arsenal. at current level, like some of you said, at best he would make it for mid table premier league team. but i think he could be a good squad player, maybe ahead of denilson and song in 2 or 3 years time. i’ve seen him play a few times and convinced he is as good as ramsey, who will be an important first team player in the future, so just hope luck on his side.

Lansbury WILL have a future at arsenal. He’s sorted out his ‘playboy’ antics somewhat and come back from his injury problems strong and being skipper of the U19’s is clear evidence of his new found motivation and dedication! Keep it goin Son

He has heart, but I dont think he’s going to make it.
Unless he has a blinder in the carling cup next season, if he’s selected..
