Video – Freeman’s Debut Winner For Yeovil

Luke Freeman has his eyes on the Arsenal first-team after a dream debut for Yeovil Town. The diminutive forward, compared to Andrey Arshavin by new manager Terry Skiverton, has set his sights on Arsene Wenger’s first-team.

Freeman fired home The Glovers winner on the opening day of the season against Leyton Orient – showing his predatory instincts to pounce after a mistake by O’s keeper Jamie Jones. Skiverton brought Luke in as a striker, but it appears he’ll play the majority of the season wide on the left.

The 18-year-old is on loan with Yeovil until December, but speaking to BBC radio last month, he has no plans to follow Luke Ayling and stay in Somerset;

“I’m getting to an age where I want some first-team experience. I’d like to go back to Arsenal in December or the end of the season and maybe look to play in the first team.”

      Competition is the name of the game and this will propel our team to another level

      J
      have you heard anything about our defensive signing. Montpelier haven’t played Spahic either in the league game or in Europe
      and there’s also a rumour that wenger will either bring given or Hart on loan or buy Given out right

      I hope to god this happen after warsaw debacle just thinking of fabianski in an arsenal shirt gives me shivers and I heard him say that Wenger say that Szczesny is too inexperienced for the first team so if we dont sign a keeper its either Fabianski or Almunia

      I very much doubt Man City would allow Arsenal, one of their biggest competitors, to borrow a top class goalkeeper which they know would really improve us. Even if Hart is made their no.1, our only chance of getting Given is if he makes it clear he wants to leave and/or hands in a transfer request, and we then buy him outright.

    When is Freemans Loan at Yeovil ending?

    Is it December or May?

    If Decemeber would love it if he performed well to try a Championship club to finish the season off…

    Thank you to everyone who supported & participated in my ‘Letters Campaign to UEFA & FIFA’.
    There’s always one of course & the ‘one’was ………
    JAMIE SANDERSON Editor of ‘Young Guns’ who is a snivelling, whiny, spoilt brat turd.
    He objected to my regular posts that aimed to drum up support & which hurt nobody.
    Jaaaaaaaaammmmmieeeeeee who you can imagine the type who at school snidily grassed classmates to teacher & no doubt now grasses to Police anyone with faulty car indicator light.
