VfB Stuttgart midfielder Serge Gnabry is set to fly to London next month for an adaptation training period ahead of his transfer to Arsenal in July. The Gunners have already agreed on a deal which will see Gnabry join on his 16th birthday.
Serge impressed during a trial earlier in the season and the club moved quickly to secure his services. The youngster shot to fame after starring for Stuttgart’s youth side in last seasons Nike Cup. The central midfielder, who is also at home on the wing, has already been given scholarship terms and will be a part of the Under 18’s next season.
Gnabry was born in Germany to Ivorian parents but has already settled on his international future. Last month he played for the German Under 16’s in a friendly against Northern Ireland. He won the Man of the Match award, scoring a fantastic opener and then playing a part in the others in a 4-3 win.
You can view a video of Serge in action against Ireland below. It features his opener, seconds into the video, a collection of assists including two superb dribbles and crosses.
heard a lot about this kid from Stuggart fans who lets just say weren’t pleased with us “taking” their most priced asset in the youth department.
They think he will ultimately end up on the wings because of the speed this boy possesses and the crosses he can whip in.
He suppose to be very good in the one two and has a short temper if he doesnt get the ball on time

Great to see Arsenal signing some of the best young talent out there, but what are the chances the likes of Mateo Kovacic(Dinamo zagrab), Enei Jelenic(Slovenian)and Sergi Samper(Barcelona) will join Arsenal.

A central midfielder who can play on the wing, attacking minded but steely and tough, olympic level sprinter, great technique, fantastic shot and good vision which offcourse will only get better at Arsenal. What’s not to like. Amazingly highly rated, great swoop.
Hope he does not go the Coquelin way or the Vela way… Such talent, so highly rated and anticipated, which has really made it happen so far?

How tall is he ? I heard that he was tall but in the video , he doesnt look like being even 6ft0in.He is not even 16 though so he will grow up.Germans and Ivorians are so succesfull in the last few years in football so he has the right mix for sure.

Angha for me is the most impressive defender in our youth system. His long diagonal ball always find its intended target. If their any who can make it then it has to be Angha
Martin angha has been a liability from what i have seen. He doesnt know how to defend looks lightweight as a centre half think he could be better as a right back.
I prefer hajrovic, smith and monteiro to angha
