No Bunjaku at least Frimpoong is getting some game time
Are we trying to protect players who haven’t signed a professional contract with us?
Are we one of the favorites?

Yes. Frimpong is the oldest in this group and Rhys Murphy is in the age group above him. Murphy is 20.

    Freeman – Roberts – Ansah
    Attack I guess
    Frimpong – Ozzie – Henderson
although this might be interesting if Aneke plays in there over one of them
    Harjovic – Boateng – Miquel – BrisbenHall
    Defense
    Martinez
    Goalkeeper

If Brislen-Hall is being released in the summer, I don’t see the point of including him in the squad.

Also dissappointing that Bunjaku isn’t in the squad. Either way he’s not as good as we think he is or our coaches have some kind of issue with him.

interesting squad, I must say. Nice to see Frimpong is included in the list, Dallas Cup could well give him some playing time under his belt after such a lengthy lay off.

I like the list and I can’t wait to watch them play in this matches. But why is Miquel in the squad. He’s supposed to be our only back-up to Kos and Squ.

It must mean Djourou is fit again, but it’s still a risk.

I think Bunjaku is not included in the squad because of Aneke,Ozyakup and Henderson who are all playmakers and older than him. Also, most of the players in this competition are born in 91 and 92 while Bunjaku is born in May 1994.

Bunjaku is already fast tracked to the U18.He will be with the reserves next season and the season after he might be on loan. That’s an intense shedule for the 16 year old. let him fight for his place.

Ok, I was under the impression that the new Barca “capture” , the young Jon Toral would be a part of the squad?

Because he does not look good enough at least in this 2010-2011 season.

Yennaris is still injured after that tackle in match against Chelsea, hopefully back soon he’s a massive talent.

    My team:
    Martinez
    Hajrovic Boateng Miquel Meade
    Henderson Frimpong Ozyakup
    Aneke
    Roberts Freeman

I think Shea could well be on the bench Sunday v Liverpool if Almunia or Sczcesney dont make it. But i have heard that Chezzer and Djourou could both be available along with Song and Sagna, that could be a real boost defensively, especially against Carroll. Suddenly looking much stronger and even the bench. Koscielny aside this would be my starting first choice X1

      Sczcesney
      Sagna Djourou Koscielny Clichy
      Song Wilshere
      Nasri Fabregas Arshavin
      RVP

Bench: Lehmann Eboue Squillaci Ramsey Diaby Walcott Chamakh

Apologies for drifting off topic, but i am getting excited cos we are almost at full strength. If Fabianski & Vermaelen were fit they would be in my 18 ahead of Lehmann and Squillaci and there you would have it. No Denilson, No Squillaci, No Bendtner, No Rosicky, No Almunia.

Slightly off topic, but I was really impressed with the Former Players section, could you please do a few more as I didn’t really “get” the youth system back then.

On topic – What has happened to Jamie Edge? And do you think Philip Roberts or Freeman will be more involved in the first team next season at Arsenal or getting loaned out?

I just wonder what the ones left behind are going to do with no reserve and no u18 football? Obviously some are injured and one or 2 are over age, but its going to be a pretty quiet month for Shea, Murphy, Cruise, Yennaris, Edge, Glasgow, Campbell, Smith, Monakana, Bhimoutine, Charles-Cook, Bunjaku. JS – Do you know if any of these can still play u16 if there is any? and who are out injured till the end of the month anyway? I suppose Murphy, Cruise & Shea will step up to 1st team training and i think, Yennaris is injured anyway but can the rest still play u16?
