Arsenal 2010-2011 Home & Away Kits

Arsenal have confirmed the club’s brand new away kit for next season, while clearest indications of the home shirt have now been leaked. The two brand new jerseys will be worn throughout the club, from the first team to Reserves, Under 18s, Under 16’s and Ladies teams.

The away shirt sees the Gunners revert back to yellow, a colour favoured among Arsenal fans despite it’s previous supposed ‘bad luck’ the team has experienced while wearing it. It’s sleek pin stripe effect in an understated maroon break up the yellow and add a modern effect to this very traditional top.

The home shirt has not yet been confirmed but again it’s expected to have a traditional look, with a red body with white sleeves. Splashes of either colour invade different sections, with a white collar and red tipped arms. A very close interpretation can been seen below, courtesy of @bozo_apparel.

You can view pictures of the shirts below.

I just puked looking at that and even my barf looks more appealing. Maroon on yellow? Try blue on yellow instead, you cretins. Is it really that difficult? Not all blue. Certainly not white! BLUE ON YELLOW, jeez. It looks like a bargain packet of crisps from the ’70s!

Home shirt is garbage ! It looks so cheap ! Like some shit from a flea market and certainly not a product of Nike !
But away shirt is amazing ! I like it a lot !

If nike just got rid of the pinstripes and swapped maroon with blue they would be onto an absoulte winner. Yet for some reason they insist on making, blue/white away kits and red sleeves on the home. Its like they want to make the least sales posssible, what clown is in charge with their research.

i don’t think NIKE designs our kits. Someone from Arsenal must have the last word on it.

These kits look very nice to me, though I would love the yellow to be like that in 2005/2006 season, when we had IMO the best kit ever.

It’s a decent kit – I think the maroon armbands are marginally too think, making the players look a little klunky. Knocking 2cm off those bands and we’re okay.

I really like this new away kit! Absolutely love the yellow and maroon together. But I do agree the armbands are too thick. I surely hope the new home kits look better than the pictures I’ve recently seen.

Our third kit will probably be our blue away kit from last season, it’s very unlikely three new kits come out and usually only two are released in the same season anyway.

My highscool wore Marron and Gold so I love the away kit. The Home one, dissappointing. Saw a retro one a few months back with just the gun and a small Emirates logo below (in actuality it could never be that small, emirates would never allow that) and it was smashingly brilliant.

The home shirt looks ok (if its real that is) but isnt almost exactly the same as the kit we had in our first season at the grove just without the gold bits on it?

i suppose i can understand why some people dont like it; its not modern enough for them. but this is classic Arsenal and i love it. besides our football is sexy no matter what the kits look like

It looks better in the promos than in pictures. I’ll wait until I see the team in it before I decide on buying it.

I like the new home strip, going 70’s in a modern style. The away should match this i.e. simple yellow and blue. I can pretend to be 7 years old again acting acting Arsenal V Man Utd 1978 FA cup. . . oh the glory days

they are both nice kits but the yellow one could have been better without the pinstripe on it.
the home is good although its plain at least they didn’t try something silly on it like the last kit with barely any whit on the sleeves.

I doubt that it is the real home because their is a ® below the crest, while the away doesn’t have one.
