Loanees – Watt Assists In Frustrating Weekend

Welcome to this weekends Loanees Watch – Young Guns’ analysis, reports and updates on the progress of the young starlets currently plying their trade away from the Emirates Stadium. You can read all the latest reports below.

Sanchez Watt played the final 16 minutes of Leeds United’s 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town. The winger replaced former Gunner Neil Kilkenny late on and immediately had an impact. Within 60 seconds off coming on, Watt had chased Peters into the corner and managed to flick the ball into the path of Robert Snodgrass who equalised. Ipswich claimed all three points late on.

Kyle Bartley is currently nursing a fractured cheekbone and is expected to miss the next two months with the injury.

Luke Freeman was an unused substitute for Yeovil as they beat Walsall 1-0.

Francis Coquelin played the final minute of Lorient’s 1-0 defeat to Bordeaux.

Armand Traore is currently out injured and is yet to make his debut for Juventus.

Nacer Barazite played 87 minutes of Vitesse Arnhem’s 0-0 draw with Willem II. Barazite, who scored a brace in the Dutch Cup last week, was impressive throughout.

Pedro Botelho completed another 90 minutes at left back for FC Cartegena as they drew 1-1 with Tenerife away from home.

Samuel Galindo was an unused substitute for UD Salamanca as they beat Villareal B 1-0.

Barazite gave an interview to voetbalzone.nl today where he expressed the opinion that he is very, very happy in Holland and unless Arsenal really push for it, he will not renew his contract, or push for having it renewed…

      he can stay there
no point in giving him a contract if he’s not going to play for us in the future

Don’t know why Watt has lost his place? started great for them. Hopefully start next game now.

Shame that Freeman and Coquelin aren’t getting much game time either.

I don’t get the point in loaning out players for them to barely play. I wish Arsenal was allowed to have a B team like Barcelona and Real Madrid.

JET is not slow is he?
cant believe a commentator said that has he even seen JET play lately
I will like to see more of JET in the future if it wasnt for Alex brilliant brilliant free kick I think we would have equalised but that free kick knocked the stuffing out of us
Kudos to Chelsea they deserved the win
Still I have a feeling this is our year and by the time next game comes around we will have more than 90% of our team back and can really kick on
Walcott will be back, B52, Fabregas, Gibbs, Rosicky, Vermaelen, Almunia too and RVP only a week away so this would be our time to kick on

Right on about the JET he will be a force. Why doesn’t he make the England camp? I think he deserves a start next PL match!
