Wellington Scores As Arsenal Beat Dagenham

Arsenal striker Wellington Silva scored a brace and made a goal for Emmanuel Frimpong as the Gunners dispatched Dagenham and Redbridge in a behind-closed-doors game at London Colney.

The Brazilian has been training with the club since last Monday and he was handed a start in a youthful second-string side against a mixed Dagenham XI. He scored the opener before playing in Emmanuel Frimpong for the second. Silva then wrapped up the scoring in a 3-1 win.

Way to shoot Toivonen down!! For fuck sake he was just as good as Marcus Berg in the uefa under 21’s. He assisted on the majority of his goals. I don’t know how he’s doing for PSV but try to have a bit more diplomacy when you start to shoot down other people’s opinions. I have noticed this before with you. THat is why you get into a lot of arguments on here. I don’t mind to argue but geez…if you are gonna tell someone that they don’t know anything, at least have the courtesy to do it decently.

The most talents player in the dutch league is Moussa Dembele of AZ Alkmaar. He is a mixture of Henry and Messi. He is very smooth and elegant on the ball and can glide past players.

On the part about the way I talk. On the Toivonen thing tho, I personally felt the same about Berg. He scored alot of tap ins and sloppy goals. He isnt doing very well in germany either.

Well, I’ve been ripped from nose to balls on here before, and I’ll readily admit my faults, so it’s no big deal man. Who am I to say?? I mean really, I got the biggest mouth out of anyone I know.

    Thanks Milo,
Ola Toivonen has a better Dutch league record than RVP lol,
Suarez, I like him, he wins games , even if he does dive,
34 IN 31 isnt a bad record, better than Klaas Jan Huntelaar, and we all supposedly want him to sign dont we.

I do get a little frusterated tho when people argue back with just wrong information and wont stop…like the guy that said Bayern play a 4-3-3. Even when I told him the exact line up they have been starting and then come to find out he didnt even watch the games, he just read an article. I will always have my same attitude in those arguements but yah , i do need to understand that people have different opinions on players and who is to say it is right or wrong.

Chu Young works his butt off every game, He has a good background, rarely in the paper, and only is for his footballing performances,
Ruiz works hard as well, and FC Twente seems to be making good strikers now.
And Agbonlahor, well we all know about him.

Bedeuro…Alfonso Alves scored 45 goals in 39 games in the dutch league. Remember the guy for Middlesbrough. He scored 4 in 31 games for them last year.

So because he screwed up Toivonen, Ruiz, Suarez, Balasz, ect will as well?
They are younger as well, so they may edapt quicker, I know the dutch league is bad, but there is a lot of talent there regardless.

Yeah i have to admit I fell for that Afonso Alves guy!! :S lol. I’d never seen him play and when i looked at the stats I couldn’t believe it. It’s such a friggin shame that the Dutch league isn’t quite what it used to be. yes there was always Ajax and Feyenoord and to some extent, PSV, but the dutch teams were successful in Europe a lot. I mean a player like Marc Overmars came from Go Ahead Eagles, and now they have been stuck in the second division for a while. So other teams have developed some world class talent in Holland. They have such classy players that it is too bad they don’t stay for longer and help make the league stronger. I know we talked about this yesterday, but it still bothers me. I always root for the Dutch national team. Partly because of the relationship between Holland and Canada regarding ww11, the type of football they preach, and partly because of those friggin awesome Oranje uniforms!!:D

Nope they shouldnt, they have a right to have their own leagues. They are separate , sovereign countries, ( as independant as you can b in the EU)
    No I dont,
Do you pay for it? Is it free?
I just watch highlights on Goal4Replay,
Or my Dads friends house, who get Setanta or ESPN.
Im not a big TV watcher :D

Ahhh yeah that’s an awesome idea Shane!! I don’t know how those two countries get along though, but seeing that they co-hosted Euro 2000 they should be pretty cool with one another! That’d be a lot of teams, but they’d sort that out too. It would strengthen the competition as well. It would be hard to figure out qualification for European tournaments though. Something like 2 from each country maybe, for the Champions League?? Like it is now actually.

Milo, Shane, Its a bad idea,
Its like saying the U.S and Canada and Mexico form 1 league,
Or England , N.I , Wales, Scotland do the same,
    They wouldnt like it.
Maybe it would be a good tournament , but not a league.

With comcast , i know it is, but i am not sure. They have alot of games tho.

There federations have discussed merging the leagues. It would only help to develope both nations. There is nothing wrong with it. Toronto plays in an American based league.

Because Canada’s league isnt very good at the moment.
Maybe it would strengthen the league,
I think they should just do a cup, like top 5 from each country plays each other in a knockout cup.

I don’t have ESPN or Setanta. I would have to have Satellite I think:S Can’t afford that. A provincial network picks up selected EPL games on Saturdays and Sundays, so if i wanna choose which matches I watchI have to rely on the internet. Thank god they are showing the Chelsea match!!:D Another local italian (Toronto) network picks up 2 Serie A games on Sundays. I usually fall asleep watching those, unless there is a player or two I really want to watch, or a team that could be future competition for Arsenal in the Champions League. lol

I dont know if they have less money. They sign players like humberto sauzo the chilean top striker. Cabanas (who was recently shot in the head) lead the south american qualifiers in goals, he plays for mexico. A mexican team beat out wigan for Jackson Martinez of columbia.

What are you guys smoking? We’ve been counter-attacking all season.
Fabregas two goals vs Everton, Fabregas vs Wolves (classic Arsenal counterattack, only Sagna, Cesc, RVP involved), Fabregas and Diaby vs Alkmaar, Fabregas vs Aston Villa, Carragher’s og vs Liverpool, these were all counterattacks I can remember off the top of my head. And we’ve had plenty more.
