Levante & Celta Vigo Ask For Galindo Loan

Bolivan midfielder Samuel Galindo has received loan offers from both Levante and Celta Vigo, as the two Spanish clubs hope to strengthen their blossoming relationship with Arsenal.

Galindo is currently on a season long loan with Segunda side UD Salamanca, but passport trouble combined with a broken ankle has seen his chances limited. The Bolivian has only just returned to match fitness following that injury, but he finds himself on the fringes of the team.

Levante and Celta Vigo both enjoy solid relationships with Arsenal, and hope signing Galindo on loan next season would boost their partnerships. The two clubs want to establish a formal agreement with the Gunners, in a similar way that Salamanca did until recently.

However, the deal would depend on their La Liga status. Levante are currently battling relegation, while Celta Vigo are seeking promotion. Should neither be playing top flight football next season, another year at Salamanca seems inevitable.

The 18-year-old told ‘Salamanca Direct’ this week that he hoped to stay with The Union, but that the decision was out of his hands.

Galindo is not currently eligible for a work permit to play for Arsenal.

I am sure that eventually in the next 3 years while he is in Spain , Galindo will become a great player. He will turn out the player we expected Diaby to be.

Maybe it’s just Wellington not making a good case for himself? JS wrote a piece about this earlier this week. I wouldn’t be so quick to place blame on Levante.

yes we do but miquel and bartley might be promoted to first team next season.unless vermaelen fails to get fit i dont see arsene buying any new defender.

galindo is not brazilian so he’s got chance to win caps that will earn him uk work permit sooner. if i was arsene i will send him to holland where even fc twente know how to nurture young kids, spanish are jokers. and lavante should start playing wellington before they even think about asking for another player

Levante might be nice as I hear they do great Pizza. Seriously I wonder if Wenger would want to get wellington and Galindo together and therefore question if Wellington and Levantewould part ways in the summer

Jules> It certainly seems like Wellington could use a change in scenery, doesn’t it? Maybe we need to link up with a Portuguese side… did I hear something about talk of a partnership with Benfica, or am I imagining it?

Did someone say we don’t need him because we have Henderson? Bit early for such an opinion don’t you think? We could do with all the best talents in the world in my opinion.
Hope he lives up to the hype!Appartenly he’s Bolivia’s great white hope

Just gonna throw it out there but Wenger usually compliments the young players when they play first team. So Wenger saying Henderson did well is like him saying Eastmond is good…I don’t think Henderson was that good against Orient, he missed some passes didn’t look that comfortable…I’m much more looking forward to Galindo.

Anything on Robert Mirosavic and Kristoffer Olsson seems like would like to sign them for the youth system.

Saying Levante are “battling relegation” is a bit much isnt it? They are 5 points away from a UEFA cup spot…

well they are 7 point behind europa cup place and 6 clear of the first relagation place so levant if getting few good or bad result can send them either way
